IMPACT Wrestling kicked off their first night of TV tapings in Las Vegas last night out of Sam’s Town, the venue was packed with fans ready for three full days of total non-stop action.
As mentioned before Sam Town’s is great spot for wrestling promotions to not only host wrestling events but also shoot TV. For the fans it’s great because there is no bad seat in the house, there are a few rows on the floor and then the rest of the seating is bleacher seats. So no one is blocking any views and you get a clear view of the entrance and ring. TV Production is this venue is also stellar because the place looks full and is spacious enough for the wrestlers to move about freely.
IMPACT had a very nice stage set up, Vegas-themed and plenty of merchandise before the show. The best part of attending the tapings for IMPACT is that even though they are shooting more than one episode per night it does not feel that way. They shoot out of orders and don’t show you any of the backstage segments which is great because if not the crowd would get tired out. Instead, the just do the matches and in-ring segments, and they also don’t repeat the wrestlers over and over. So a very easy, fun taping to attend.
Night one of the tapings opened up with a match for XPLOSION, the had local talent “The Pillars of Destiny” take on “The 1%” a tag team composed of SoCal talent Royce Isaacs and Jorel Nelson.
Afterwards, they begun the shooting for the actual show. Talent featured on the show included LAX (Santana, Ortiz and Konnan), Fallah Bahh, KM, Tessa Blanchard, Taya Valkyrie, Eli Drake, Tommy Dreamer, Willie Mack, Rich Swann, Fenix, Pentagon Jr, John Morrison, Ethan Page, Matt Sydal and more.
During the show Instinct Culture’s own Denise Salcedo was able to do conduct backstage interviews with both Ethan Page and Johnny Impact!
