WWE’s Wrestlemania 36 part one featured a match between Goldberg and Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship, with “The Monster Amongst Men” beating Goldberg.
Kicking off the match, Goldberg landed four spears on Braun however Braun countered with four power slams allowing him the 3-count to become a first-time Universal Champion.
The original match was supposed to be between Goldberg and Roman Reigns- however due to COVID 19 concerns, Roman Reigns had to remove himself from the match– given he is at high risk after recently battling leukemia.
