NXT TakeOver XXX Set For August 22nd, Will Feature A Ladder Match To Crown New NXT North American Championship

NXT kicked off their July 22nd weekly episode with a major announcement. Keith Lee who recently defeated Adam Cole and became double champion informed viewers that he would be relinquishing the NXT North American Title and only keeping the NXT Championship. Keith Lee decided on this decision in order to create more opportunities for the NXT roster.

Thus, General Manager William Regal announced that there would be a  a series of Triple Threat North American Championship qualifying matches leading up to NXT Takeover XXX where the qualifiers would face off in a Ladder match to determine the new NXT North American champion.

The first participant included in the Ladder Match will be Bronson Reed, who landed the spot after defeating both Roderick Strong and Johnny Gargano.

NXT Takeover XXX is set to take place on Saturday, August 22nd and can be streamed live on the WWE Network.
