Roman Reigns returned at Summer Slam Cleveland! We haven’t seen Roman since losing the WWE Championship at WrestleMania to Cody Rhodes. For the past several months Reign’s enforcer has done a hostile takeover of the Bloodline. Solo uprooted any semblance of those aligned with Roman, by removing both Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman.
During the main event of Summer Slam Cleveland, It was Bloodline Rules for the WWE Championship between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa. After the entire Bloodline and Kevin Owens and Randy Orton got involved, The Bloodline still had the upper hand. Roman’s music hit and the over 50,000 people in attendance erupted in excitement.
Solo Sikoa was run down with an earth shaking spear from Roman. Cody Rhodes capitalized on the flatten Solo and successfully retained The WWE Championship. Roman’s absence on Friday Night Smackdown has been felt, his return has been highly anticipated. The Bloodline civil war is right on the horizon.
