This week’s episode of WWE RAW emanates from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas! Bronson Reed’s path of destruction continues. Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest band together against the new Judgment Day. Randy Orton and Gunther come face-to-face. Bron Breakker retains the Intercontinental Championship, and more.

We Hear From Rhea Ripley
Rhea says she’s re-lived her match at WWE SummerSlam and has felt every emotion there is to feel looking back on it, but right now, she’s feeling pissed off. Rhea says Dominik Mysterio stabbed her in the back and says Liv Morgan can’t run away from her forever. Rhea says it’s time to remind Dom and Liv just who she is. Liv and Dominik then appear from the rafters.
Dominik says it was embarrassing for a grown man to walk around and call Rhea “Mami,” but now, Liv Morgan lets him be himself. Dominik also says Liv helped him beat his father in the ring, unlike Rhea. Rhea says she’s proud of Dominik for the progress he’s made, but she wanted Dominik to beat his father on his own.
Liv says Dominik is a man, and he is all hers. Liv gloats that she took away Rhea’s family, including Dominik, and the WWE Women’s World Championship. Liv says everything Rhea loved is now hers. Rhea laughs and tells Liv to shut up. Rhea warns Liv that she’s coming for her, and she’ll have to kill her to stop her.
Damian Priest emerges behind Liv and Dominik in the rafters and attacks Dominik in the concessions area. The two continue fighting in the ring, with Priest then taking down Carlito as well. Meanwhile, Rhea chases Liv through a doorway.
Damian Priest vs. Carlito
Priest and Carlito go back and forth, with Carlito notably countering a Razor’s Edge, while Priest prevents himself from crashing into the steel ring post. In the match’s closing moments, Priest nails Carlito with a Broken Arrow, to which Carlito responds with a kick. Priest then shifts momentum back into his favor with another kick, a lariat, and a South of Heaven for the win.
Winner: Damian Priest
After the match, the new Judgment Day ambush Priest until Rhea Ripley rushes down and hits Carlito with a low blow. Priest and Ripley circle Finn Balor in the ring, and Priest looks to kick him, but McDonagh takes the kick to the head instead. Priest and Ripley embrace and Dominik looks to surprise them by launching himself off the ropes. Priest, however, stops him, and passes him off to Ripley to set up for a Riptide. Liv Morgan saves Dominik before Ripley can hit the move.
Backstage, Ivy Nile asks Maxxine Dupri to join her, The Creed Brothers and Chad Gable. Dupri insists that wants to stay with her family, the Alpha Academy. Nile nods and she knew Dupri would say that.
Odyssey Jones vs. Vincent Winey
Jones takes early control, but Winey fights back with a splash and a series of strikes. Ultimately, Jones’ strength is too much to overcome as he lands a spinning sidewalk slam for the victory.
Winner: Odyssey Jones
Post-match, Karrion Kross and The Final Testament appear. Kross says that it looks like Kofi Kingston is replacing New Day’s Big E for Jones. Kross then claims that Kingston is actually trying to replace Xavier Woods. Woods claims that Kross isn’t going to drive a wedge between The New Day. Kingston then calls for a six-man tag team on next week’s episode of Raw. Kross accepts.
Texas Tornado Tag Team: Alpha Academy vs. Creed Brothers
Otis sends Julius Creed out of the ring with a clothesline and then nails Brutus with a back suplex. Tozawa looks to further capitalize on the outside, but is stopped by Julius. Julius and Brutus work together to take down Otis until Tozawa comes flying off the top with a crossbody.
Later, Ivy Nile attacks Maxxine Dupri from behind and slams her face into the announce desk. Nile then traps Dupri in a sleeper hold. Meanwhile, Brutus rolls up Tozawa with the help of Julius for the win.
Winner: The Creed Brothers
A clip of Jackie Remond interviewing Pete Dunne plays. Dunne says he never wants to hear the name “Butch” again; he is “The Bruiserweight.” Dunne says if he has to shut Sheamus up to never hear that name again, then that is what he will do.
Backstage, Bronson Reed looks back on his attack against Seth Rollins last week. Reed tells Adam Pearce to find him an opponent for tonight, or he will go and find a new victim himself.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships Number One Contenders: Zoey Stark & Shayna Baszler vs. IYO SKY & Kairi Sane
SKY and Sane double team Baszler with a double dropkick. Sane then takes down Baszler with a sliding elbow strike in the corner. Baszler tags in Stark and deliver a backbreaker to Sane.
In the match’s closing moments, Stark accidentally kicks Alba Fyre at ringside. SKY then sets up Stark for a moonsault in the ring. SKY hits it but her subsequent pinfall attempt is broken up by Isla Dawn. Dawn and SKY then ambush SKY in the ring.
Winner: No Contest
Backstage, R-Truth informs The Miz that he got booked into a match against Bronson Reed. Miz is not amused. Randy Orton appears, reminding him that he is a two-time Grand Slam Champion. Orton and Truth hype him up. The Miz walks off with newfound confidence.
Randy Orton & Gunther Faceoff
Orton says he will become a 15-time world champion when he defeats Gunther at WWE Bash in Berlin. Before he can continue, Gunther’s music hits. Gunther appears with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder.
Gunther says this is the era of “The Ring General,” and in this new era, there is no room for people who waste potential. Gunther says in this era, Orton won’t play a role anymore. Randy says he’s owned up to his past mistakes and changed course. Orton reminds Gunther he is talking to the most unpredictable, violent, controversial yet successful superstars in the history of WWE. Orton vows to dethrone Gunther at Bash in Berlin.
Gunther says Orton is very predictable. Gunther predicts that he will give Orton the beating of his life in Berlin, and because of that, he will never be a world champion again. Gunther says when it really matters, Orton always screws up. Guther tells Orton his father and grandfather were also screw-ups, but Orton is the biggest of them all.
Drew McIntyre interrupts with a microphone in hand. Orton then RKOs Gunther out of nowhere. CM Punk also comes out of nowhere and attacks McIntyre. McIntyre takes out his belt to whip Punk, which Punk evades. Punk takes the belt out his hand and repeatedly whips him with it.
Backstage, Pete Dunne attacks Sheamus with a shillelagh.
Punk says he lied about having travel issues tonight. Punk says McIntyre can keep his bracelet, but warns him to keep Punk’s wife’s and dog’s names out of his mouth. Punk then proclaims that he found a way to make everyone happy.
The Miz vs. Bronson Reed
Reed asserts early control with a splash and a rolling senton. Miz fights back with a dropkick, a tornado DDT, and a series of kicks to Reed’s chest, but Reed’s strength is too much to overcome. Reed delivers a Death Valley Driver and a Tsunami for the win.
Winner: Bronson Reed
After the match, Reed lands a crossbody and three Tsunamis on R-Truth. WWE officials and referees pull Truth to safety as Raw General Manager Adam Pearce screams at Reed in disapproval. Reed goes to another corner and hits Truth with two more Tsunamis.
2-Out-Of-Three Falls For Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn scores the first fall after nailing Bron Breakker with a Helluva Kick for a three count. Breakker bounces back with a spear to gain the second (and his first) fall of the match. Breakker catches Zayn with a mid-air spear for the third, and final, fall to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
