WWE NXT Deadline: Men & Women’s Iron Survivor Challenges, NXT Underground, Two Titles Matches

The 2024 WWE NXT Deadline premium live event emanates from the Minneapolis Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota! Five men and five women compete in the Iron Survivor Challenges. Lola Vice and Jaida Parker battle in NXT Underground. Nathan Frazer and Axiom defend the NXT Tag Team Championships. Trick Williams puts his NXT Championship on the line against Ridge Holland, and more!

Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge

Je’Von Evans and Wes Lee kick off the match, with Evans quickly going for a roll-up. Lee kicks out as Evans goes for another fall right after. Evans chops Lee then takes him down with a jumping forearm and a Standing Shooting Star Press. Lee kicks Evans in the corner, then spikes him on the mat. Lee slams Evans for a near fall of his own.

Evans and Lee trade strikes. Lee repeatedly punches Evans in the back, but Evans fights back with strikes of his own. Evans grounds Lee with a hurricanrana and a dropkick. Lee responds with a stomp and a dive to the outside. Lee returns to the ring and descends from the top rope and lands on Evans. Evans regains his footing and plants Lee. Evans then goes for a cutter, but Lee catches him. Evans goes for another cutter, but Lee again catches him and pins him for a fall.

Entering at 5-minute mark: Nathan Frazer

Frazer enters as Evans goes to the penalty box. Frazer drives Lee to the mat and ascends the top rope. He comes down with a frog splash for a near fall. On the outside, Lee rocks Frazer with a rolling kick and a dropkick into the barricade. Evans is released from the penalty box and knocks out both Lee and Frazer on the outside. Frazer connects with an enziguri, but Evan responds with a springboard cutter. Lee breaks up the subsequent pinfall. Evans goes up top, but Lee slaps him. Frazer looks for a superplex on Evans, but Evans pushes him off. Frazer levels Evans for a near fall. Evans rolls him up for another pinfall attempt. Frazer then rolls up Evans.

Frazer sends Evans over the top rope. Frazer wipes out both Lee and Evans with a suicide dive. Lee chops Frazer. Evans then kicks Lee.

Entering at 10-minute mark: Ethan Page

Page runs down and wipes out all three of his current opponents. Frazer returns to the ring and shocks Page with a quick roll-up for a fall. Page shoves Frazer to the mat. Evans then shoves Page into the penalty box. Meanwhile, Lee attempts a pinfall on Frazer. Evans sets up Lee for a DDT. Frazer runs the ropes and drives both of them into the mat. Frazer connects with a splash on Lee. Page, however, reenters the ring and rolls up Frazer for a fall of his own.

Frazer heads to the penalty box. Lee kicks Evans off the apron and onto Page’s shoulders. Page tells Lee to run the ropes. The two work together for a Doomsday Device on Evans. Evans bounces back with a dive off his own onto Lee and Page. Evans returns to the ring, as does Frazer. The four men trade strikes before knocking all of each other down with kicks.

Entering at 15-minute mark: Oba Femi

Femi charges to the ring and wipes out all four of his opponents. Frazer kicks him in the corner then looks for an axe handle, but Femi uppercuts him. Femi then levels Evans for a pinfall. Evans goes to the penalty box. Femi delivers a backbreaker to Page. He then slams Lee to the mat and attempts a fall, but Frazer breaks it up.

Frazer looks for a hurricanrana on Femi, but Femi reverses it into a powerslam. As the referee begins to count, Page pulls him out of the ring. Angry, Femi rams Page against the penalty box. Lee tries to blindside Femi with a dive, but Femi catches him. Frazer shoves Femi into the ringpost. Evans leaps off the penalty box and onto Femi.

Evans hits a giant cutter on Lee for a pinfall. Lee goes to the penalty box. Femi and Evans come face-to-face in the ring. Evans begins swinging on Femi. Frazer joins him, making it a two-on-one fight. Femi, however, fends them off. Femi stacks Frazer and Evans up on his shoulders. Lee returns to the ring and kicks him. Lee, Evans and Frazer deliver a series of kicks to Femi. Femi slams Evans to the mat. Page comes up from behind and pins Femi. Femi heads to the penalty box as Page gloats.

Evans surprises Page with a crucifix pin for a fall of his own. Page hesitantly goes to the penalty box where Femi awaits. Femi throws Page into the box glass. Page scales the box for an escape, but Femi brings him back down and slams his head against it. Femi returns to the ring and throws Lee over the top rope and to the floor.

Evans looks for a cutter on Femi on the outside, but is caught. Femi throws him against penalty box. Lee jumps onto Femi’s back. Frazer momentarily stuns Femi with an enziguri. Femi delivers a double chokeslam to Lee and Frazer for a double fall. Evans lands a cutter on Femi, but before he can reach over for a cover, time expires.

Winner: Oba Femi (3 Falls); Evans (2), Lee (1) Frazer (1), Page (2)

Lexis King appears on the streets of Minnesota, noting that this is the place where his life changed forever, with no one to look up to. King says he’s trying to prove that he’s different, but he’s struggling to change that perception. It won’t stop him from reaching that satisfaction though.

Underground Match: Lola Vice vs. Jaida Parker

Vice rocks Parker with a knee and fires off several strikes. Parker responds by slamming Vice to the mat. Vice kicks Parker to the floor. Parker ramps her back-first into the side of the ring. Parker then body slams her onto the mat three times. Parker looks for a fourth, but Vice traps her arm into a triangle submission.

Parker lifts up Vice and slams her to the mat again. Parker goes to punch Vice, but Vice ducks. Vice kicks Parker, but Parker eventually catches her leg and rocks her with a back elbow. Vice applies an ankle lock as Parker crawls to the corner. Vice breaks the hold when Parker grabs on to one of the men at ringside. Vice goes for a spinning back fist, but Parker ducks, causing Vice to hit the ring post instead. Parker hip checks Vice’s hand against the steel ring post. Back in the ring, Parker rains down with elbows. She then stomps down on Vice and steals her glove.

Parker puts on Vice’s glove and fires off more strikes. Parker retrieves a black belt and wraps it around Vice’s wrist. She pulls it, causing Vice’s shoulder to hit the ring post. Parker then wraps the belt around the ring post for an arm submission. Vice finds a grip and pulls Parker into the ring post.

Parker headbutts Vice then hoists her on her shoulders for a back body drop. Parker takes off the top layer of the steel stairs and places Vice on top of them. She then follows up with a seated senton (Teardrop). Back in the ring, Parker puts Vice in an arm submission. Vice escapes and locks in a choke hold. Parker drops Vice onto her back, then retrieves a brick. Vice rocks Parker with a big kick, then cinches in a rear-naked-choke. Vice hits a suplex. Parker responds with one of her own, then picks the brick back up. Before she can use it, Vice connects with a back fist and applies an Anaconda submission. Parker fades, causing the referee to call for the bell.

Winner: Lola Vice

NXT Tag Team Championships: Nathan Frazer & Axiom (c) vs. Myles Borne & Tavion Heights

Borne and Frazer lock up, with the former landing a shoulder check. Frazer tags in Axiom, as Borne tags in Heights. Axiom targets Height’s arm. Heights plants Axiom to the mat, then targets his arm. Axiom rocks Heights with a dropkick. Heights tags in Borne. Frazer and Axiom double team Borne. OTM saunter down to ringside, briefly distracting Frazer.

Heights attacks Frazer in the corner. Frazer sends Heights to the outside with a hurricanrana. Axiom does the same to Borne, but with a dropkick. Axiom dives onto Borne on the outside. Heights rams him into the side of the ring before launching Frazer into OTM on the outside.

Back in the ring, Borne powerslams Frazer for a near fall. Borne stomps on Frazer, then drives him into the mat for a near fall. Borne whips Frazer into Heights, who then powerslams him. Heights charges at Frazer in the corner. Frazer catches him and drives him into the corner instead. Heights bounces back with another slam for another near fall.

Frazer rocks Borne with an enziguri, then tags in Axiom. Axiom fends off both Borne and Heights. He connects with a kick to Heights, before attempting a fall. Heights kicks out and rolls up Axiom into a fall of his own. Axiom reverses into a submission attempt. Heights counters and slams Axiom to the mat. Axiom looks for a dropkick, but Heights sees it coming and rolls through for a running powerslam.

Axiom tags in Frazer, who launches himself onto Heights and Borne on the outside. Frazer returns to the ring with a 450 Splash on Heights for a near fall. Frazer goes back up top and elbows Heights to the mat. Heights returns to the top and hits a German Suplex. Borne and Heights double team Frazer. Axiom breaks up their pinfall attempt.

Borne dropkicks Axiom to the outside. Frazer levels Borne in the corner. Axiom drives Borne to the mat with a Spanish Fly. Frazer follows up with a Phoenix Splash. Heights saves Borne from getting pinned. Axiom looks for a missile drop kick, but accidently hits Frazer with it. Meanwhile, Borne spikes Frazer on the outside. Heights and Borne double team Axiom for another near fall. Axiom hits a Canadian Destroyer on Heights, then surprises Borne with a roll-up for the win.

Winners (And Still): Nathan Frazer & Axiom

Backstage, Wes Lee interrupts Je’Von Evans’ interview and asks how he’s so happy after losing the Iron Survivor Challenge. Evans calls Lee salty. Lee clocks Evans as security then separate the two.

NXT Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Ridge Holland

Holland and Williams trade strikes. Williams dropkicks Holland, spears him, and fires off more strikes. Holland sweeps Williams off his feet and covers him for a one count. Williams connects with a jumping clothesline, then sends Holland over the top rope. Holland short-arm clotheslines Williams. He then looks for a German Suplex, but Williams blocks it, sending him into the ring post instead.

Back in the ring, Williams takes Holland on a turnbuckle tour before planting him with a jumping neckbreaker. Williams follows up with a scoop slam and a knee for a near fall. Williams continues his momentum with a belly-to-back suplex. He charges toward Holland, but Holland side steps, causing Williams to collide with the turnbuckle. Holland stomps away at Williams, then delivers a suplex of his own. Holland bounces Williams off the top before planting him with a neckbreaker.

Holland positions Williams feet-first on the top rope, then chokes him. Holland fires off kicks as Williams continues to hang from the corner. Williams eventually breaks free, only to meet another neckbreaker from Holland. Holland fires off right hands to Williams’ neck. Holland goes for another neckbreaker, but Williams counters into a DDT.

Williams rallies with a kick and a Flapjack. He looks for a uranage, but Holland reverses into a crossface. Williams powers out of it and delivers a uranage. He then looks for a Trick Shot, but Holland evades it and lands a running slam. Holland goes up top and descends with a diving headbutt, but Williams rolls out of the way. Williams nails Holland with a big kick. He and Holland trade kicks and pinfalls on one another.

Holland rams Williams into the side of the ring, then the steel steps. Holland clears off the announce table looking to slam Williams through it next. Williams fights him off and charges toward him in the ring. Holland side steps, causing Willaims to get caught in between the ropes by his neck. Holland lands another neckbreaker. Williams somehow kicks out.

Holland goes shoulder first into the ring post. Williams capitalizes with a Trick Kick and a Trick Shot for the win.

Winner (And Still): Trick Williams

Backstage, Ethan Page says he doesn’t know what’s next following his loss in the Iron Survivor Challenge.

Elsewhere, Ava announces that Wes Lee vs. Je’Von Evans for next week’s episode of NXT. Meanwhile, Tiffany Stratton teases cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase at NXT New Year’s Evil.

Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge

Giulia and Wren Sinclair kick off the match. Sinclair goes for a quick roll-up, but Giulia kicks out. Giulia then goes a pinfall of her own, which Sinclair also kicks out of. The two engage in a test of strength, with Sinclair initially overpowering Giulia. Giulia and Sinclair trade pinfall attempts.

Giulia hits a headlock take-down, then transitions into an armlock. Sinclair rolls Giulia into another pinfall with a backslide. Giulia delivers a backslide of her own. Giulia and Sinclair lock up, with the former taking down the latter with a shoulder tackle. Giulia locks in an Octopus submission as Sol Ruca heads down to the ring.

Entering at 5-minute mark: Sol Ruca

Ruca levels Giulia and Sinclair. Sinclair jumps at Ruca, but is caught. Ruca slams her onto Giulia for a near double-fall. Sinclair bridges into an arm submission on Ruca. Giulia breaks it up and applies a double crossface. Sinclair elbows Giulia to break it up. Giulia puts Sinclair in a chokehold, whole Ruca chokeholds Giulia. Sinclair escapes and applies a Fujiwara armbar on Ruca. Giulia tries to break it up but Sinclair sees her coming. Giulia puts Ruca in an armbar, which Sinclair breaks up. Sinclair plants Ruca to the mat and goes for the cover, but Giulia breaks it up.

Giulia knees Sinclair in the midsection. Ruca then clocks Sinclair. Sinclair covers Giulia for a fall, but Giulia kicks out. She rebounds with a Northern Lights Suplex on Sinclair for a fall. Sinclair heads to the penalty box.

Entering at 10-minute mark: Zaria

Zaria enters the match and crushes both Giulia and Ruca in the corner. Ruca and Giulia look to double-team her, but Zaria rocks them both with a suplex. Giulia headbutts Zaria, paving the way for Ruca to land a Sol Snatcher on Zaria. Zaria and Giulia roll out of the ring before Ruca can gain a fall. Sinclair emerges from the penalty box, only to be met with a Sol Snatcher from Ruca. Ruca pins Sinclair. Sinclair returns to the penalty box.

Zaria hoists Ruca on her shoulders and sends her crashing into the penalty box. Giulia and Ruca powerbomb Zaria through the announce table. Giulia nails Ruca with a backbreaker. Sinclair leaves the penalty box and tries to roll Giulia into the ring. Giulia instead dives onto her with a knee. Ruca wipes out both Sinclair and Goulia with a jump to the outside.

Entering at 15-minute mark: Stephanie Vaquer

Vaquer enters the ring by diving onto Ruca. Vaquer boots Sinclair in the corner, then delivers a pair of knees to Ruca in another. Vaquer whips Sinclair into the mat. Vaquer and Giulia come face-to-face. Zaria pulls Vaquer to the outside and rams her into the penalty box. Zaria drops Sinclair, then spears Ruca. Giulia jumps onto Zaria’s back. Vaquer then jumps on Giulia’s back. Zaria fights off both Giulia and Vaquer. She F5s Giulia for a fall. Giulia goes to the penalty box.

Ruca, Sinclair, and Vaquer triple-team Zaria, before trading falls with one another. Ruca hits an X-Factor on Vaquer. Zaria comes off the top with a moonsault on Sinclair and Ruca. Giulia returns to the ring and levels Zaria. She hits a double DDT to Ruca and Sinclair. Giulia goes up top and connects with a missile dropkick on Ruca and Sinclair, while also landing on Zaria. Giulia plants Sinclair. Vaquer then kicks her in the side of the head. Vaquer and Giulia stare off again, before headbutting and dropkicking Ruca and Zaria.

Vaquer drops Giulia and slams her head into the mat. Vaquer goes up top, where Giulia meets her. Giulia connects with a double underhook suplex. Ruca hits a Sol Splash on Giulia. Zaria throws Ruca across the ring. Sinclair whips Zaria into the corner. Vaquer rolls up Sinclair for a fall. Ruca, Vaquer, and Giulia trade strikes. Ruca hits a double clothesline on Giulia and Vaquer. Sinclair reenters the ring and shocks Ruca with a pinfall.

Zaria double spears Vaquer and Sinclair then follows up with an F5 to Sinclair. Giulia runs in with a big knee to Zaria and pins her. Vaquer sneaks behind Giulia for a pinfall attempt, but Giulia kicks out. Vaquer quickly goes for another cover, but time expires.

Winner: Giulia (2 Falls); Ruca (1), Sinclair (1), Zaria (1), Vaquer (1)
