Our own Denise Salcedo caught up with Tiffany Stratton and Ludwig Kaiser at the Raw on Netflix premiere in Los Angeles on Monday night.
During the interview, Salcedo asked Stratton about winning the WWE Women’s Championship on Friday’s SmackDown when she cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Nia Jax. As good as the moment felt, Stratton says it was made even better when she noticed a star from High School the Musical was seated ringside.
Stratton responded:
I felt like through the whole process, whenever I was out there, I felt like I was just on autopilot. And then when I hit my moonsault, finally I really could relish in that moment. And I felt like that’s when everything hit me, all my hard work in the past three years and standing on that table and holding the title, it felt so amazing. And then Vanessa Hudgens was three feet in front of me and that felt even more amazing.
Stratton also told a story about the first date she went on with her partner, Ludwig Kaiser. Evidently, Kaiser challenged Stratton to a game of rock, paper, scissors with the stipulation that whoever lost had to ask the other one out.
Stratton said:
OK, so obviously we had seen each other at the Performance Center, but nothing really happened. And then it was my birthday weekend and he was out in his little – I called it the Imperium corner cause him and all of his friends would always go to this certain table corner and they would just hang out there. So I got dropped off and I’m like, ‘Oh look, there’s there’s Marcel, there’s Kaiser.’ And I went over and I chit chatted it up and he actually came up with the idea to play rock, paper, scissors and the loser has to ask the other one on a date. Yes, and he lost and he DM’ed me on Instagram the next day. He took all day. And I got a DM. And then it was like 9 p.m. he DM’ed me. I’m like, okay. And then that Wednesday we went on our date and then we’ve been inseparable ever since.
