This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite emanates from the Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia. Will Ospreay takes on Mark Davis. Ricochet and Swerve Strickland battle in the main event. Toni Storm plays the part of Mariah May, and more.

The Death Riders Brawl With White, FTR, & Copeland
Backstage, Jay White, FTR, and Adam Copeland brawl with The Death Riders. The action spills into the ringside area, with Wheeler teeing off on Pac. Meanwhile, White hits a Bladerunner on Wheeler Yuta. FTR hit a Shatter Machine on Pac. Claudio Castagnoli swings Dax Harwood into the barricade. Claudio and Jon Moxley then stomp away at White. Copeland spears Claudio. Moxley and crew retreat through the crowd. Copeland challenges Moxley to a world title match at AEW Revolution. Moxley marches toward the ring and tells Copeland no. White challenges Moxley to a tag match with White partnering with Copeland against Moxley and Claudio at Grand Slam Australia.
Will Ospreay vs. Mark Davis (w/Don Callis)
Ospreay slaps Davis. Davis slaps him back. Ospreay fires off more chops in the corner. Davis drops Ospreay on his back, then slams him to the mat. Davis chops Ospreay again. Ospreay leaps off the ropes with a springboard forearm. Don Callis tries hyping up Davis.
Back from break, Davis delivers a Dragon Suplex and a knee strike. Ospreay leaps to the outside with a crossbody, then rolls David back into the ring. Ospreay connects with a thrust kick and an Os-cutter. Ospreay covers Davis, but he kicks out. Davis knocks Ospreay down with a lariat, then plants him with a piledriver. The referee calls out Davis for taking off the turnbuckle pad. Ospreay hits a Hidden Blade for the win.
Winner: Will Ospreay
After the match, Ospreay leads the crowd in chanting his name. He introduces Kenny Omega. Don Callis retreats. Omega thanks the crowd for cheering him. Omega tells Davis that there are people in AEW that he can trust, questing why he aligned with Don Callis. Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita emerge on the stage. Omega says he’s ready to fight right now, but if they aren’t, he suggests they prepare for their tag match at Grand Slam. Omega says next week will be a match to prove that the future lies within him and Ospreay.
We Hear From The Hurt Syndicate
MVP introduces Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley, MVP gives props to the former AEW Tag Team Champions Private Party for their recent efforts, but says they were no match for the Hurt Syndicate. MVP puts the tag division on notice, vowing to hurt anyone who steps up. The music of Colten and Austin and Gunn plays, marking their return.
Austin says they’d like to talk some business with the Hurt Syndicate. MVP invites them to state their business in the ring. Austin says they’ve been waiting for a rematch for the titles, and now that they’re back, they want it. MVP offers a tag team title match next week for them. Lashley stares down the Gunns before leaving the ring.
Backstage, Harley Cameron introduces a Mercedes Mone puppet. Mone emerges from behind and calls Cameron dumb. Mone calls herself the greatest champion of all time, while Cameron is a loser. She also tells Cameron to stay out of her locker room.
Elsewhere, “Hangman” Adam Page says he doesn’t regret sending Christopher Daniels into retirement. Max Caster approaches him, suggesting he put Anthony Bowens or Billy Gunn out next. Page instead offers to wrestle Caster in a match.
Hounds Of Hell (Brody King & Buddy Matthews) vs. The Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher)
Fletcher and Matthews lock up, with the latter targeting the former’s arm. Fletcher takes Matthews down into a headlock. Matthews looks to kick him in return, but Fletcher dodges it. Takeshita tags in, as does King. King chops Takeshita. Fletcher strikes King from behind but then gets taken down by a chop. King throws Takeshita into the barricade on the outside. Matthews does the same to Fletcher. King chops Fletcher and Takeshita. King delivers a massive crossbody onto both of them. He follows up with a chop to Takeshita. King sandwiches both Fletcher and Takeshita against the barricade.
Back from break, Takeshita knocks Matthews off the apron with a kick. King levels him in return. Takeshita hits a German suplex. King responds with an elbow strike. Both men collide when they clothesline each other. Matthews tags in, as does Fletcher. Matthews dumps Fletcher to the outside, then dives onto him. Matthews covers Fletcher for a near fall.
The music of Kazuchika Okada plays, distracting Matthews. Fletcher looks to capitalize, but Matthews levels him in the corner. King tags in and charges in with a cannonball. Takeshita saves Fletcher from being pinned with a senton. Fletcher spikes King with a DDT. Takeshita connects with an elbow strike, as does Fletcher. They then work together to land a brainbuster on King for the win
Winners: Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher
Backstage, Samoa Joe and Hook walk into the locker room of Christian Cage. They begin brawling with Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian as Cage looks on.
We Hear From MJF
MJF says he has a lesson for Jeff Jarrett, that being that the “E” in AEW stands for Elite, not elderly. MJF says with Jarrett out of his way, he is one step closer to the AEW World Championship. Max Caster suddenly appears in the ring, trying to hide from Adam Page. Page stares down MJF, then follows after Caster through the crowd. MJF is then interrupted by Dustin Rhodes.
Rhodes tells him to shut his mouth and calls him out for disrespecting his friends. Rhodes urges him to stop talking about the veterans, as Rhodes is one himself. Rhodes says MJF has all the potential, but he chooses to go to dark places. Rhodes says he is the last of his kind because he’s survived everything. Rhodes asserts that he is better than MJF. MJF says Rhodes took 37 years to get out of his father’s shadow. He says Rhodes now lives in the shadow of his little brother. Rhodes clocks MJF. AEW officials try to separate then, but Rhodes jumps right back to MJF. MJF runs back in the ring and low blows him.
AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May joins commentary for this next match. Toni Storm comes to the ring dressed as May.
Toni Storm vs. Queen Aminata
Storm slaps Aminata, then drops her with a spinning slam. Storm hip checks Aminata to the floor. Aminata dives onto Storm. At the same time, one of Storm’s hair extensions falls out.
Back from break, Storm fires off right hands in the corner. Aminata covers Storm for a one count. The two trade chops, then slaps. Aminata lands a German suplex. Storm spikes Aminata with a DDT, then a running knee. Storm follows up with a hip attack and May Day for the win.
Winner: Toni Storm
After the match, Storm imitates Mariah May. May gets up from commentary and teases a confrontation, but ultimately backs away.
Backstage, Dustin Rhodes says he’ll beat MJF’s ass next week.
Elsewhere, Chris Jericho says no one wants Bandido in AEW. Jericho says he is going to double Bandido’s wanted reward money if Bryan Keith can take down Bandido like Big Bill did to Powerhouse Hobbs. Hobbs and The Outrunners begin brawling with Jericho, Bill, and Keith. Bill chokeslams a member of security. Hobbs does the same to another member. Hobbs and Jericho trade blows in the ring, with Bill dragging Hobbs to the outside. They continue fighting around the commentary desk.
Ricochet vs. Swerve Strickland (w/ Prince Nana)
Ricochet hits Strickland with a chair while he makes his entrance. Strickland slaps Ricochet in return, but Ricochet rocks him with a Vertigo for a near fall. Ricochet dropkicks Strickland to the outside, then dives onto him. Strickland slams Ricochet onto the top of the barricade. Strickland then send Ricochet crashing into the turnbuckle.
Back from break, Ricochet delivers a baseball slide. He and Strickland trade strikes. Ricochet rocks him with a rising knee. Strickland responds with a powerslam and a German suplex. Strickland stomps him next. He ascends the top, then descends with a Swerve Stomp for a near fall. Ricochet lands a German suplex on the apron. He then connects with a springboard 450 splash. He follows up with a Shooting Star Press. Strickland hits a House Call. Ricochet counters a Swerve Stomp with a low blow. Ricochet follows up with a Spirit Gun for the win.
Winner: Ricochet
After the match, Ricochet strikes Prince Nana and takes his robe.
