This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite emanates from the H-E-B Center in Austin, Texas! The AEW World Trios & Tag Championships are defended. Kris Statlander battles Penelope Ford. Dustin Rhodes face MJF and more.

“Hangman” Adam Page vs. Max Caster
Caster runs away into the crowd. Page follows him. Caster stomps away at Page upon their return to the ring. Page whips Caster into the corner. Caster takes down Page with a hurricanrana. Page responds with a lariat and a splash into the corner. He follows up with a sliding lariat, then the Buckshot Lariat for the the win.
Winner: Adam Page
AEW World Trios Titles: Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, PAC & Wheeler Yuta) (c) vs. The Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong)
O’Reilly and Pac brawl on the outside, as does Yuta and Strong. Elsewhere, Cole and Claudio trade strikes.
Back from break, Claudio and O’Reilly exchange blows. Claudio applies a sleeper hold. O’Reilly breaks free, prompting Yuta to strike him across the back. Pac tags him and rocks O’Reilly with a series of kicks. O’Reilly turns him inside out and tags in Strong. Strong delivers a backbreaker to Claudio and Yuta. He slams Yuta onto Pac before rolling up Pac for a two count. O’Reilly tags in and hits a backstabber on Pac. O’Reilly follows up with a running knee. Yuta pushes O’Reilly off the top turnbuckle. Claudio drives Strong into the mat, then stomps away at him in the corner. Claudio tags in Yuta, who lands a German suplex on Strong. Yuta tags in Pac, who applies a vice grip on Strong. Pac charges in with a running uppercut on Strong for a near fall. Claudio tags in and whips Strong into the corner. Claudio, Yuta, and Pac take turns hitting Strong in the corner.
Back from another break, Cole drops Yuta with a pump kick. He rocks him with a running knee and a neckbreaker for a near fall. Strong takes down Claudio with a jumping knee to the outside. Cole lands a dropkick on Pac, then a kick on Claudio. Cole, Strong, and O’Reilly triple team Pac. Claudio returns to the ring and lays out Cole and O’Reilly with a suplex. Cole superkicks Yuta. Strong and O’Reilly double team him until Claudio again makes the save. Claudio bounces Strong off the barricade, then grabs a chair. Cole and O’Reilly superkick Claudio out of the ring. Yuta low blows O’Reilly with the referee distracted and pins him for the win.
Winners (And Still): Death Riders
After the match, the Death Riders begin attacking the Undisputed Kingdom. Daniel Garcia and Angelo Parker make the save. Backstage, Adam Copeland hits Jon Moxley with a chair. He and Jay White lock Marina Shafir in a closet and take her briefcase. As they run away, Moxley frees Shafir.
Backstage, MJF tells Dustin Rhodes he should pray to the devil tonight. Adam Page interrupts. MJF says he’s been watching Page question himself for several weeks. MJF says it’s a joke that the fans believe in Page. MJF says he will beat Rhodes tonight, then move one step closer to becoming a two-time AEW World Champion.
Hook, Katsuyori Shibata & Samoa Joe vs. Aaron Solo, Jon Cruz & Rosario Grillo
Joe, Hook, and Shibata charge after their opponents. Hook suplexes Solo. Shibata hits Grillo with a series of chops. Samoa Joe joins in, then trips Grillo. Joe crushes Grillo with a senton. Cruz lays in strikes to Joe’s back, only to be dropped to the mat.
Winner: Hook, Katsuyori Shibata & Samoa Joe
Post-match, Joe names his team The Ops. He then challenges The Patriarchy to a trios match on next week’s Dynamite.
Backstage, Chris Jericho says he will collect the bounty from Bandido, then challenges him to a showdown in the ring. They pace backwards like a Western movie until Bryan Keith pulls Bandido by the leg. He and Jericho beat down Bandido until The Outrunners run down to even the odds. Big Bill comes out with the wanted poster, looking to chokeslam Bandido. Powerhouse charges down before he can. They trade strikes until Hobbs gains the upper hand with a spinebuster.
Elsewhere, Willow Nighingtale confirms she is returning to Japan. Marina Shafir attacks her. Jon Moxley tells Adam Copeland he is a dead man walking.
Backstage, Adam Copeland and Jay White taunt the Death Riders with their briefcase. Copeland says if Moxley wants it back all he has to do is meet them in the ring at the end of the night.
MJF vs. Dustin Rhodes
Rhodes hits a powerslam, then slams MJF against the apron. MJF targets Rhodes’ arm. Rhodes attempts a sunset flip, but MJF blocks it. He drops Rhodes onto the mat. MJF gouges Rhodes’ eyes, then connects with right hands. Rhodes plants MJF with a powerbomb. Rhodes fires off right hands in the corner as well, then lands a bulldog. MJF leaps off the top with a stomp to Rhodes’ elbow. MJF teases a Cross Rhodes, which Rhodes counters into a Cross Rhodes of his own. MJF and Rhodes trade near falls. MJF drops Rhodes with a piledriver.
MJF retrieves a chair and places it around Rhodes’ hand. The referee throws the chair away. Rhodes lands a kick in between MJF’s legs. He follows up with a Final Reckoning for a near fall. MJF applies an arm bar. MJF transitions to a crossface. The referee calls for the bell as Rhodes fades.
Winner: MJF
After the match, MJF locks in another armbar. Adam Page confronts MJF in the ring. The two brawl, causing AEW officials to separate them. MJF and Page each break free and brawl on the outside. Page follows MJF into the crowd, laying in more strikes. Officials separate them again. MJF says Page is afraid of him because he’s a loser. Page runs back down and lays in even more punches.
Megan Bayne vs. Maya World
Bayne pushes World into the corner, then drops her with a shoulder. World leaps at Bayne, only to be caught and suplexed across the ring. Bayne delivers another suplex and a chop. Bayne whips World into the corner and takes her down with a running shoulder. She finishes off World with an F5.
Winner: Megan Bayne
After the match, Bayne and Kris Statlander briefly stare off as the latter makes her way to the ring.
Kris Statlander vs. Penelope Ford
Ford and Statlander trade submissions. Ford licks Statlander. Statlander responds with a sliding lariat. She then rams Ford into the corner turnbuckle. Ford slaps Statlander. Statlander stomps away at her, then connects with a dropkick. Statlander follows up with a vertical suplex.
Back from break, Statlander drops Ford with a pair of lariats. She then powerslams her for a near fall. Ford hits a neckbreaker and a stunner. Statlander responds with a German suplex. Ford lands a poisonrana. Statlander drops her with another lariat. She follows up with Night Fever for the win.
Winner: Kris Statlander
Post-match, Megan Bayne drops Statlander with an F5.
Harley Cameron performs a rap using her Mercedes Mone puppet. She then cuts a promo hyping her TBS Championship match for Grand Slam Australia.
AEW World Tag Team Titles: The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) (w/MVP) (c) vs. The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn)
Lashley and Colten lock up. Lashley drops Colten with a shoulder. Austin tags in and fires off elbows on Lashley. Lashley tosses him to the outside. Benjamin tags in and slams Austin into the barricade. MVP steps in front of Benjamin to prevent Colten from intervening.
Back from break, Austin lands a cutter on Benjamin. Austin tags in Colten, who fires off right hands on Benjamin. Colten sends Lashley to the outside with a dropkick. He hits a cutter on Benjamin for a near fall. Colten rolls up Benjamin for another near fall. Benjamin transitions to the ankle lock, but Austin breaks it up. Austin and Colten hit a blockbuster on Lashley. Colten then hits a Famouser for a near fall. Benjamin runs over Colten. Benjamin delivers two German suplexes to Austin. Lashley plants Colten, then spears Austin for the win.

Backstage, AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May looks ahead to her title match against Toni Storm at Grand Slam, which she says will be a “mercy killing.”
We Hear From Adam Copeland & Jay White
Adam Copeland and Jay White go out to the ring. Copeland says Spike, his nail-filled baseball bat, is hungry. He threatens to beat the briefcase, which contains the AEW World Championship, with Spike until Moxley accepts his challenge. Copeland claims Moxley doesn’t care about the AEW World Championship. Moxley says he does care and accepts his challenge. Moxley promises to break Copeland’s neck at AEW Revolution. Copeland whacks the briefcase with Spike.
Wheeler Yuta gets dropped by Jay White. Marina Shafir retrieves the briefcase as Pac and Moxley double team Copeland. Copeland bounces back with a spear to Pac. White nails Claudio Castagnoli with a Bladerunner. Copeland spears Moxley. White says he and Copeland will put The Death Riders in the ground at Grand Slam Australia.
