This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite emanates from Norfolk, Virgina! “Hangman” Adam Page and Kyle Fletcher square off in the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament semi-finals. Eight of AEW’s top star collide in a tag match. Toni Storm takes on Miyu Yamashita, and more.

Kenny Omega, Kevin Knight, Mark Briscoe & Mike Bailey vs. The Elite (Kazuchika Okada, Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) & Ricochet
Okada and Omega exchange words before the bell, then stand off when it rings. Okada tags in Nick before they lock up, though. The Elite and Ricochet charge towards their other three opponents, knocking them off the apron. Omega chops Nick. Nick sends Omega flying with an arm drag in return. Nick tags in Matt, who stretches Omega’s arm against the rope. Okada tags in and targets the same arm. Matt stretches Omega’s arm again. Matt is turned away from the ring on the apron. Omega hands Ricochet over to Matt, who mistakenly attacks his arm next. Briscoe, Knight, and Bailey triple team Ricochet in the corner. Bailey and Knight kick Ricochet at the same time, then send him flying with a hip toss.
Ricochet rocks Briscoe with a jawbreaker. Briscoe fires off elbows on Nick, then drops him with a kick. Matt kicks Briscoe from behind. Briscoe knocks him off the apron. All eight men miss elbow drops on each other, leading to a stand off. Briscoe and Bailey rock Nick and Matt with kicks to the face.
Back from break, Ricochet and Matt lay out Knight and Bailey with Northern Lights Suplexes. Matt and Nick call for brainbusters on Bailey, but Bailey blocks them both. Bailey then counters Ricochet’s attempt as well. Okada gets Bailey in a vertical position, but Briscoe and Knight pull him down. The team then trade brainbusters. Omega’s teammates go flying onto The Elite and Ricochet on the outside. Bailey rocks Okada with a missile dropkick. Knight runs over Nick with a trio of lariats. Knight then launches him across the ring with a hurricanrana. Omega connects with a thunderous kick to Matt. Matt rocks Omega with a kick, then Bailey. Nick and Ricochet leap onto Omega and Bailey.
Back from break, Omega and Okada trade strikes. Omega hits a Snap Dragon suplex. Okada lands a dropkick. Nick and Ricochet fly into Briscoe and Knight as Okada and Matt piledrive them. Nick and Matt miss the EVP Trigger and collide with each other. Ricochet goes flying into Nick and Matt. Briscoe lays the Jay Driller on Okada. Ricochet breaks up the subsequent pin. Ricochet then goes up top, but Bailey catches him with a kick. Knight then kicks Ricochet out of the ring. Omega dives onto a sea of men on the outside. Meanwhile, Briscoe hits a Death Valley Driver on Okada. Okada responds with the Rainmaker as Nick and Matt hold back Omega. Okada pins Briscoe.
Winners: The Elite & Ricochet
Backstage, Shelton Benjamin and MVP try to convince Bobby Lashley to let MJF join the Hurt Syndicate. MVP says if MJF screws them over, they will hurt him like never before.
The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata) vs. Rhett Titus, Nick Comoroto & Myles Hawkins
Joe chops Titus, then unloads a flurry of kicks in the corner. He follows up with an enziguri. Shibata tags in, as does Comoroto. The two trade chops until Shibata drops Comoroto with a boot. Hawkins tags in next, only to take stiff kick to the spine from Shibata. Hobbs tags in crushes Hawkins in the corner. He then seals the victory with a spinebuster.
Winners: The Opps
After the match, The Death Riders ambush The Opps from behind. Hobbs chases after Wheeler Yuta. Claudio Castagnoli rocks him with an uppercut, then slams Shibata against the barricade. Joe locks in a choke hold on Jon Moxley on the stage. Claudio drops Shibata onto a chair, prompting Joe to release the hold and run into the ring. Death Riders then retreat through the crowd. Joe grabs a mic and calls Moxley a b*tch. Joe challenges Moxley to an AEW World Championship match in a steel cage.
Miyu Yamashita vs. Toni Storm
Storm charges in with a Thesz Press on Yamashita, raining down right hands. She follows up with a backbreaker. Storm trips Yamashita on the apron. Yamashita responds with a series of kicks to Storm’s back and to Luther as well.
Back from break, Storm unleashes more right hands on Yamashita. She then nails her with a German suplex. Yamashita rocks her with a head kick. Storm answers back with a sit-out powerbomb. Storm keeps the momentum by landing a Hip Attack and a Storm Zero for the win.
Winner: Toni Storm
After the match, Mercedes Mone comes out to the stage and says she’s coming for the AEW Women’s Championship. Jamie Hayter appears as well and rocks Mone with a right hand. She goes for another punch, but Mone ducks and retreats to the back. Hayter stares down Storm.
Backstage, Don Callis recalls Konosuke Takeshita and Josh Alexander beating Will Ospreay and Brody King in tag action. He also says Kyle Fletcher is going to dismantle Adam Page tonight. Fletcher says after he beat Page and then Ospreay, the Don Callis Family will take its place at the top of the mountain of AEW.
We Hear From The Hurt Syndicate & MJF
MVP reiterates that in order for a new member to join them, they must receive three thumbs up. He calls MJF down to the ring. MJF comes down. MVP and Shelton Benjamin give their approval with a thumbs up, but Lashley keeps his thumb down. Frustrated, MJF demands to know what Lashley wants in order to give a thumbs up. In response, Lashley grabs MJF by the face and backs him into the corner. He reminds MJF of what The Hurt Syndicate is all about: hurting people. Lashley says if MJF wants to prove himself then he has to hurt people too.
Elsewhere, Stokely Hathaway asserts that FTR will win back the AEW Tag Team Championships.
ROH TV Championship: Nick Wayne (w/ The Patriarchy) (c) vs. Jay Lethal
Lethal and Wayne exchange headlocks. Wayne chops Lethal. Lethal answers back with an arm drag and a dropkick. Lethal takes flight with a suicide dive, crashing into Wayne on the outside. Wayne drives Lethal into the steel ring steps.
Back from break, Lethal climbs to the top and descends with an elbow drop on Wayne. Wayne transitions into a roll-up, but Lethal kicks out. Lethal looks for Lethal Injection, but Wayne rakes his eyes, then drives him down with a Fisherman’s Buster to score the victory.
Winner (And Still): Nick Wayne
After the match, Christian Cage places the ROH TV Championship around Nick Wayne’s waist. He claps, as does Kip Sabian and Mother Wayne.
Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tourney Semi Final: Adam Page vs. Kyle Fletcher (w/ Don Callis)
Page chops Fletcher, then rocks him with a right hand. He then looks for a Buckshot Lariat, but Fletcher moves to the outside to evade it. Page clotheslines Fletcher over the barricade.
Back from break, Page connects with a lariat that turns Fletcher inside out. He follows up with a Fallaway Slam. He clothesline Fletcher in the corner, then sends Fletcher to the apron. Page looks for a moonsault, but Fletcher sweeps him off his feet. Fletcher drills Page with a thrust kick and a Brainbuster. Fletcher drags Page toward the barricade. Page drives Fletcher face-first into it, then spikes him on the floor with a piledriver.
Back from another break, Page lands a superplex. Page rocks Fletcher with big right hand. Page then plants him with a Liger Bomb for a near fall. Page follows up with a Dead Eye for another near fall. Page goes up top and looks for a moonsault, but Fletcher gets his knees up. Fletcher slams Page to the mat. Page counters a brainbuster. He then goes to the apron, but meets a boot to the face from Fletcher. Page drops Fletcher with a Dead Eye on the apron. Page follows up with a moonsault to the outside. He looks for a Buckshot Lariat, but Fletcher low blows him as the referee was pushed out of the way. Fletcher then drops Page with a brainbuster for a near fall.
Fletcher charges in and connects with a high kick in the corner. He and Page climb the top rope. Page knocks him down with a forearm strike. Page follows up with a pair of lariats for the win.
