WWE Raw August 11, 2025: Knight & Punk vs. Breakker & Reed, Women’s IC Title Match, Zayn vs. Rusev

This week’s episode of WWE Raw emanates from Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. We break it all down in this week’s WWE Raw recap!

We Hear From CM Punk

Punk says he should be the world champion right now, but he’s not, so he’s a little angry about it. Punk says he has a Seth Rollins problem. Punk claims that Rollins is trying to be him, but is failing miserably. Punk feels he let the people down at SummerSlam, so he promises to regain the title soon. Punk reiterates that he hates Rollins. Punk points out that Rollins pretended to be injured and is pretending to be Punk. Punk vows to break Rollins’ legs for real. LA Knight’s music hits. He comes down to the ring to meet Punk.

Knight says Punk was robbed at SummerSlam. He adds that Punk deserves to have a rematch for the world title. Punk agrees. Knight recalls Punk attacking Rollins last week, causing a DQ during Knight’s own title match. Knight says they don’t have a problem. He even implores Punk to get back at Rollins, but stresses that he does it on his own time. Knight adds that Punk should get his rematch after Knight gets his. Punk says Knight should be thanking him for saving Knight from being stomped into the concrete. Punk points out that he is a former world champion, unlike Knight, so Punk should get a rematch first. Knight says he hasn’t been world champion in WWE yet, so he is more overdue than Punk.

Knight says Punk is not on his level. He says they don’t have a problem though, and to keep it that way, he’ll forget about last week, if Punk doesn’t step over the line again. Knight says he’ll beat Rollins, then Punk can be his first challenger for the world title. Punk says he’s the best in the world. Before can finish, Paul Heyman appears on the stage with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Heyman mocks Quebec City. Heyman warns Knight not to get into the favor business with Punk as it will cost him everything. Punk says someone is getting punched tonight, then invites Breakker and Reed to come down to the ring. Heyman says they can fight two on two later tonight. Punk and Knight accept. Breakker heads down the ramp and trash talks Punk and Knight. Reed holds him back.

Backstage, Dominik Mysterio brings El Grande Americano into the Judgment Day clubhouse. Balor says the rest of the group doesn’t want Americano. Mysterio says he’ll use Americano to his advantage heading into AAA TripleMania.

AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs. Dominik Mysterio & El Grande Americano

Styles bounces Dominik off the turnbuckles, then delivers a backbreaker. Lee tags in and descends off the top with a double axe handle. Dominik tags in Americano. Americano whips Lee into the corner and slaps him. Lee kicks American in the face then wipes him out with a crossbody. Styles and Lee nail Americano with a double clothesline and kick. Lee powerbombs Dominik into the mat.

Back from break, Lee descends Americano flying with a hurricanrana. He follows up with clotheslines and a stomp. Lee dropkicks Americano and lands a flying elbow. Americano hits an enziguiri. Dominik sends Lee crashing into the steel ring steps. Dominik puts a mask on and cinches in a headlock on Lee. Dominik follows up with shots to Lee’s midsection. Dominik lands a dropkick to Lee in the corner.

Back from another break, Lee tags in Styles, who fires off kicks on Americano. He rocks Americano with an elbow and a slam next. Lee superkicks Dominik. Styles launches Lee into Dominik. Styles follows up with a Styles Clash. Americano pushes Lee off the turnbuckle and to the floor. Styles spikes Americano on the mat. Americano rolls to the apron, then slingshots Styles off of the top rope. Americano accidently drops a steel plate as Styles kicks him. Dominik puts it into his mask. Styles rolls up Americano, who kicks out. As Styles is launched forward, Dominik headbutts him with the steel plate. Americano rolls up Styles for the win.

Winners: Dominik Mysterio & El Grande Americano

Backstage, Sami Zayn asks Sheamus not to get involved in his match tonight.

Elsewhere, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez say at least IYO SKY doesn’t have to lose to Naomi again. SKY suggests that she fight Perez tonight.

Sami Zayn vs. Rusev

Rusev stomps Zayn, then shoulder checks him in the corner. Zayn responds with right hands. Rusev runs him over with a shoulder check. Rusev kicks Zayn in the midsection. Zayn sends Rusev to the outside, then lands a springboard moonsault. The action returns to the ring, with Rusev slamming Zayn to the mat.

Back from break, Zayn spikes Rusev with a tornado DDT. Rusev counters a Helluva Kick with a big boot for a near fall. Rusev looks for the Accolade. Zayn fights him off with a series of elbows and a roll up. Rusev lays in right hands, then a series of forearm strikes, similar to Sheamus’. Zayn responds with an exploder. He lines up for a Helluva Kick. The Bloodline drag Zayn out of the ring and attack him, causing the referee to call for the bell.

Winner (by DQ): Sami Zayn

After the match, The Bloodline retreat to the back. Sheamus boots Rusev in the face. They begin brawling through the crowd.

Backstage, Xavier Woods complains about Penta wearing his hat then hitting him with it last week. Adam Pearce confirms Woods vs Penta for next week.

IYO SKY vs. Roxanne Perez (w/ Raquel Rodriguez)

SKY and Perez lock up. Perez locks SKY in a leg scissors. Perez takes her down again with a headlock. SKY responds with her own head scissors. Perez escapes, only to take a headlock takedown. SKY knees Perez in the midsection. Perez rolls up SKY with a two count. She then bounces SKY off the turnbuckles. SKY blocks the third one. Perez claps SKY, then looks to send her flying. SKY lands on her feet. She follows up with a dropkick that sends Perez to the outside. SKY wipes out both Perez and Raquel with a suicide dive. Perez strikes SKY from behind, then launches her into the steel steps.

Back from break, Perez connects with a springboard moonsault. She then bounces SKY’s head off the turnbuckle. Perez lays in back elbows in the corner. SKY hits a mid-air dropkick. She follows up with a missile dropkick off the top. SKY delivers double knees to Perez in the corner. She covers her for a two count. SKY looks for a moonsault, but Perez rolls to the apron. Perez yanks SKY’s arm, then sends her flying off the top with a hurricanrana. Perez lands a pair of knees to SKY’s back for a near fall. SKY counters a Pop Rox with a knee to Perez. She then charges into the corner. Perez dodges her line of fire.

As Raquel distracts the referee, Perez rakes SKY’s eyes. She follows up with a Shining Wizard for a near fall. Perez takes SKY down with a tornado DDT and a crossface. SKY escapes and lands a backbreaker. SKY hits moonsault on Perez and Raquel on the outside. SKY goes up top for an Over the Moonsault, but Perez blocks it with her knees. Perez tries to loosen the turnbuckle in the corner. Raquel distracts the referee. Asuka and Kairi Sane hold back Perez for SKY to hit. Perez escapes and pushes SKY into the Asuka and Sane, who stood atop the apron. Perez rolls up SKY for the win.

Winner: Roxanne Perez

Backstage, Jey Uso says receipts are coming to The Vision. He is also coming back for the world title. LA Knight says the line starts behind him. Uso says he’ll send Knight to the back of the line.

Women’s IC Title: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Maxxine Dupri (w/ Natalya & Akira Tozawa)

Maxxine and Lynch lock up. Lynch drops Maxxine, then walks over her. Maxxine cinches in a headlock. Lynch reverses then takes her down with a shoulder tackle. Lynch yells for Maxxine to get out of her ring as she doesn’t “deserve” to be in it. Maxxine responds with an arm drag. Lynch rocks her with a big boot and series of stomps in the corner. Natalya calls Lynch a bully. Lynch charges into the corner with a knee. She launches Maxxine across the ring with a trio of Bexploders.

Maxxine reverses a Manhandle Slam into a stunner. Maxxine catches Lynch’s leg and cinches in an ankle lock. Lynch escapes, but immediately eats a clothesline. Maxxine fires off right hands and stomps in the corner. Maxxine hits a baseball slide. She flattens Lynch with a crossbody. Maxxine rocks Lynch with a spin kick next. She rolls up Lynch for a two count. Lynch reveres with a roll up of her own, but the referee catches her grabbing the rope. Lynch locks in a Dis-arm-her. Maxxine taps.

Winner (And Still): Becky Lynch

After the match, Lynch clocks Natalya, then says this is her division. She adds that she does what she wants.

Backstage, Seth Rollins implores Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker to stack some bodies tonight. He then says he’s headed out for the night.

Elsewhere, Bayley says she wants more, but feels less. Bayley says she once felt she could make a change in the women’s division, but now she’s by herself. Bayley says everything leading up to this moment has gotten her nowhere. Bayley points out that she’s lost a lot in the last year and it’s her own fault. Lyra Valkyria appears backstage and hopes Bayley is okay. Valkyria says she doesn’t know what’s going on with Bayley, but it’s not her fault, so Bayley is on her own.

IYO SKY also appears backstage. Stephanie Vaquer tells her that she is not the only one who was promised a title match against Naomi. Rhea Ripley says she doesn’t think that Roxanne Perez could have beaten SKY tonight had it not been for Asuka and Kairi Sane. Ripley asks SKY if she can trust Asuka and Sane. SKY says she knows what Ripley is trying to do and implores her to stay out of it.

CM Punk & LA Knight vs. Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed

Breakker and Reed run right after Punk and Knight. Reed knocks down Knight with a right hand. Knight kicks Breakker, then wipes him out with a shoulder tackle. He follows up with a clothesline. Punk tags in and yanks Breakker’s arm. Knight tags in again and strikes Breakker’s arm. Punk comes back in with a kick to Breakker’s midsection. He sends Breakker to the outside. Punk and Knight try to send Reed over the top rope individually. They then team up to do so.

Back from break, Reed hits a double axe handle to Punk’s chest. He then cinches in a headlock. Punk responds with a stunner. Punk tags in Knight, who fires off right hands on Reed. Knight takes down Reed with a jumping clothesline and a neckbreaker. Reed counters the BFT. Knight hits an inverted DDT on Reed, then drops Breakker with a clothesline on the apron. Knight rams Breakker into the turnbuckle. Reed crushes Knight in the corner. Breakker drives Knight across the announce table.

Back from another break, Breakker drops Knight on his back. Reed wipes him out with a clothesline next. Reed blocks a sunset flip from Knight. Punk jumps off the apron to confront Breakker on the outside. Reed flattens Knight with a senton. Reed hoists Knight on his shoulders. Breakker leaps off the top and sends Knight crashing into the mat. Reed dumps Punk to the outside. Reed misses a senton to Knight. Knight tags in Punk as Reed tags in Breakker. Punk hits a kick to Breakker’s face, then a suplex. Punk follows up with high knees in the corner. Punk goes u top. Knight knocks Reed off the apron, then drives him into the announce tackle. Punk leaps off the top and connects with a flying elbow. Punk calls for a GTS. Seth Rollins attacks Punk from behind before he can deliver it.

Winners (by DQ): CM Punk & LA Knight

After the match, Rollins continues to beat down Punk. Reed and Breakker join in on beating down Knight too. Jey Uso comes down to the ring with a steel chair. He strikes Breakker with it on the ramp. Reed swats the chair out of Uso’s hand. Uso connects with a right hand, then a chair shot to Reed. Rollins rolls out of the ring to stand with The Vision. Adam Pearce comes to the stage. Pearce announces that Rollins will defend his world title at Clash in Paris against Uso, Punk, and Knight.

Knight and Punk begin trading strikes in the ring. Uso tries to separate them, only to take a back elbow from Knight. Punk eats a spear from Breakker. Rollins stomps away at Knight then dumps him to the outside. Breakker then spears Knight. Back in the ring, Reed delivers a Death Valley Driver and Tsunami to Uso. Rollins stomps Knight, then Uso. Breakker and Reed hold Punk back. Rollins taunts Punk and says as long as he is breathing, Punk will never be champion. Rollins follows up with a stomp to Punk.
