This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite emanates from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! We break it all down in this week’s AEW Dynamite recap!
AEW World Tag Titles: Brodido (Bandido & Brody King) (c) vs. GOA (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) (w/Ricochet)
Bandido chops Liona. Liona shoves Bandido. Bandido dropkicks him, causing Liona to stagger. Liona recovers and tags in Kaun. Bandido chops Kaun next. Kaun fires back with one of his own. He follows with a big punch and running suplex. Kaun slams Bandido into the mat. Liona does the same. Kaun rocks Bandido with an elbow. Bandido tags in King, who chops both Kaun and Liona. Kaun sends King up and over to the apron. Liona superkicks King. King pushes Liona into the ring post, then runs over Kaun with a lariat.
King and Kaun go up top. Liona rams a shoulder into King while he hangs upside down. Kaun follows with a flying headbutt. Kaun and Liona isolate King in their corner. Kaun stomps King on his back on the outside, then chops him. Kaun whips King into the barricade. They return to the ring. King and Liona trade chops.
Back from break, Liona and Kaun deliver back to back sentons to King. King chops Kaun. Kaun stomps away at him in the corner. King crushes both Kaun and Liona in the corner. He follows with a cannonball to Liona. Bandido tags in and lays in strikes on both Kaun and Liona. Bandido knocks down Kaun with a kick. Bandido dodges hands from Liona in the corner. He dropkicks him against the turnbuckle next. Bandido launches Kaun into Liona. Liona crushes Bandido with a seated senton. They both splash him in the corner. King sends Kaun and Liona crashing to the mat. Bandido leaps off the top, but Kaun dodges his frog splash. Liona slams King onto the timekeeper’s table. As the referee checks on King, Ricochet gets into the ring with a chair. The referee sees it and ejects him. Kaun and Liona slam Bandido to the mat. King breaks up their pinfall attempt.
King sends Liona to the outside, then wipes him out with a dive. Bandido pins Kaun for the win.
Winners (And Still): Brodido
Backstage, Kris Statlander says she is beat up, but is a fighting champion. Statlander says she loves Mina Shirakawa, but someone has to be her first challenger. Statlander promises to make this a match the people won’t forget. Harley Cameron says she’ll run into Statlander’s arms when she wins tonight.
AEW World Title: Adam Page (c) vs. Lee Moriarty
Moriarty and Page shake hands. They lock up. Moriarty locks in a head scissors. Page escapes. Moriarty backs Page up into the corner and elbows him. Page runs over Moriarty with a shoulder. Moriarty dodges a sliding lariat. Page slams him to the mat. He follows with a big boot.
Back from break, Page drops Moriarty onto his back. He delivers a fallaway slam next. Page plants Moriarty with a Death Valley Driver. Moriarty runs into the corner with another elbow. Moriarty locks in an Octopus submission. He rolls up Page for a two count. Moriarty cinches in a stretch submission. Page escapes and clocks Moriarty with a lariat. He follows with a Dead Eye for the win.

We Hear From FTR & Stokely
Cash Wheeler says they deserve the boos from the crowd. Wheeler says their actions at All Out have kept him up at night. Wheeler says they aimed to beat Adam Copeland and Christian Cage and let them ride off into retirement, but Copeland couldn’t stand that. Wheeler recalls Copeland bringing Beth into their business. Wheeler says Copeland is to blame for Beth being struck by FTR.
Stokely says he forgives Beth for attacking him at All Out. Stokely says he was running up the ramp to introduce himself, but instead he took a spear from Beth. Stokely claims that he let Beth spear him. Stokely says FTR is the greatest tag team of all time. Stokely points out that Beth doesn’t even work there. Dax Harwood says he will apologize for dropping Copeland on his neck, or dropping Cage. Harwood says he would never purposely hurt Beth. He claims that when Beth punched his broken nose, he thought he was dropping Copeland in return, not her. Harwood says he would never put his hands on a woman. Willow Nightingale’s music hits.
Nightingale is here to talk about Beth, whom she views as an inspiration. Nightingale says women like Beth are why she came back from a broken neck. Nightingale also says women like Beth are the reason she doesn’t take sh*t from guys like FTR. Nightingale asks them to get out of the ring unless they apologize for real. Stokely claims that it’s past Nightingale’s bedtime. Nightingale slaps Stokely. Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight hit the ring to even the odds for Nightingale. Bailey superkicks Harwood. Knight then dropkicks Wheeler. FTR pull Stokely out of the ring so they can retreat.
The Conglomeration (Hologram, Mark Briscoe & Orange Cassidy) defeat The Don Callis Family (Hechicero, Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita) (w/ Don Callis)
Briscoe rains down right hands on Hechicero in the corner. Hologram does the same. Cassidy tags in and punches him once. Hologram tags back in and lands an arm drag on Hechicero. Hechicero slams Hologram to the mat. He delivers a reverse monkey flip into a submission. Hechicero drops Hologram.
Back from break, Hechicero lands an elbow on Hologram. Hologram responds with a hurricanrana. He does the same to Takeshita. Briscoe fires off elbows on Okada. He follows with a flying forearm. He then splashes Okada in the corner. Briscoe drops Okada with a fisherman buster. Okada boots Briscoe in the face. Briscoe runs him over with a clothesline. Cassidy hugs Okada. Cassidy delivers a Stun Dog Millionaire. Okada nails Cassidy with a neckbreaker. Cassidy sends Takeshita and Okada flying with a double rana. Hechicero spins Cassidy around into a backbreaker. He follows with a guillotine to Hologram.
Cassidy spikes Hechicero with a DDT. Okada dropkicks Cassidy out of the ring. Briscoe launches Okada across the ring, then eats a knee strike from Takeshita. Takeshita spikes Hologram. Hologram counters with a destroyer. Cassidy delivers an Orange Punch to Hechicero. Hologram follows it up with a Portal Bomb for the win.
Winners: The Conglomeration
After the match, Kyle Fletcher says he looked in the mirror and remembered he was. He says he’s on track to being the greatest TNT Champion of all time. Fletcher points out that Hologram has the longest undefeated streak in all of AEW. Fletcher says he’ll be the first man to pin Hologram, so he grants Hologram a title match next week.
Claudio Castagnoli vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
Claudio and Hobbs trade strikes. Hobbs slams Claudio to the mat. Claudio chops Hobbs in the back. Claudio then delivers a back suplex. Hobbs slams Claudio again. The action spills to the outside. They exchange more blows. Hobbs headbutts Claudio. Hobbs charges toward him, but instead collides with the steel steps. Claudio drives Hobbs into the top of the apron.
Back from break, Hobbs fires off elbows. He then splashes Claudio in the corners. Claudio delivers multiple uppercuts. Claudio descends off the top with a superplex. Claudio uppercuts Hobbs again. Hobbs nails Claudio with a powerslam. Hobbs bodyslams Claudio again. Claudio finally blocks one and uppercuts Hobbs. Claudio attempts to clothesline Hobbs to no avail. Hobbs runs him over with a clothesline of his own. He follows with another bodyslam. Pac appears on the apron and distracts Hobbs. Claudio uppercuts Hobbs, then rolls him up for the win.
Winner: Claudio Castagnoli
After the match, Hobbs dumps Claudio to the outside. Samoa Joe runs down, but he and Hobbs are outnumbered by the Death Riders. Adam Page emerges and sends Claudio to the outside. He then boots Garcia and dumps him there as well. Page stands tall with Joe and Hobbs.
AEW President Tony Khan and Renee Paquette introduce the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships. Khan says they will crown the inaugural champions in the near future.
AEW Women’s World Title: Kris Statlander (c) vs. Mina Shirakawa
Kris and Mina lock up. Kris runs over Mina with a shoulder. She follows with a standing moonsault. Mina drops Kris onto her back with a Russian leg sweep. Kris drops Mina to the mat in return. Kris chops Mina in the corner. Mina rains down with right hands. Kris bursts out of the corner with a dropkick. Kris delivers a running uppercut. Mina dodges a boot and dropkicks Kris in the knee. Mina slams Kris’ knees against the floor. She then launches Kris into the steel steps. Kris drops Mina onto the ring apron.
Back from break, Mina fires off elbows. She spikes Kris with a swinging DDT. Mina stomps on the back of Kris’ knees. Kris lands an uppercut in the corner. She follows with a running knee. Mina rolls up Kris for a near fall. Kris drives Mina into the mat for a near fall of her own. Mina delivers a dragonscrew. Mina leaps off the top with a sling blade. Mina lands a rolling elbow. Mina rolls into the Figure Four Leg Lock. Kris reaches the bottom rope to break it. Mina stomps on her midsection. Kris thrust kicks Mina. Mina delivers a roundhouse kick and spinning backfist. Kris kicks her away and uses a seatbelt pin for the win.
Winner (And Still): Kris Statlander
After the match, Wheeler Yuta and Harley Cameron join Kris in the ring. Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir do the same. Yuta hugs Kris, then raises her hand. Kris clotheslines Yuta. She then flips off Moxley and leaves the ring. Cameron follows.
Darby Allin emerges with a flamethrower. The Death Riders retreat through the crowd. Allin challenges Moxley to an I Quit match at WrestleDream.
