This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite emanates from Atlanta, Georgia! We break it all down in this week’s AEW Dynamite recap!
AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles: Babes Of Wrath (Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale) vs. Timeless Love Bombs (Mina Shirakawa & Toni Storm)
Shirakawa and Cameron lock up. Cameron and Shirakawa chest bump. Cameron then takes down Shirakawa with a sling blade. Storm and Willow tag in. Willow shoulder tackles Storm to the mat. Storm and Willow trade strikes. Cameron kicks Storm and Shirakawa off the apron. Willow follows with a cannonball. Willow slams Cameron onto Stom for a two count. Cameron chops Storm against the ropes. Storm replies with a backbreaker. Shirakawa and Storm follow with back to back suplexes. Storm drops Shirakawa onto Cameron for a near fall. Cameron drops Shirakawa with a back suplex. Willow tags in and takes down Shirakawa and Storm with short arm lariats. She nails them both with chops, then runs them over with a double clothesline.
Back from break, Shirakawa leaps off the top with a sling blade on Cameron. Storm follows up with a Storm Zero. Shirakawa covers Cameron, but Willow breaks it up with a senton. Willow suplexes Storm on the outside floor. In the ring, Cameron and Shirakawa trade blows. Shirakawa connects with a pair of rolling elbows, then a kick. She lands a backfist as well. Cameron counters the Glorious Driver and drives Shirakawa to the mat. Willow tags in and plants Shirakawa with the Babe with the Powerbomb for the win.
Winners (And New): Babes of Wrath
After the match, Willow says she is feeling tired, but she is also proud of herself and Cameron. Willow commends Cameron for being there for her. Cameron says she can’t believes she and Willow are the first ever women’s tag champions.
Backstage, Jon Moxley says he can still score even if there’s one grain left in the hourglass. Moxley says the Death Riders are the hungriest and hardest working individuals in wrestling.
Continental Classic Gold League: Jack Perry vs. Kazuchika Okada
Perry leaps off the top with an elbow for a two count on Okada. Perry follows with right hands in the corner. Okada dropkick Perry to the floor on the outside. Okada throws Perry over the barricade. He then drives him into the floor with a draping DDT.
Back from break, Okada delivers a neckbreaker, then a slam. He goes up top and descends with an elbow drop. He connects with a dropkick next. Perry answers with a poisonrana and running knee strike. Okada bites Perry’s hand to escape a submission. Perry bites Okada in the private parts. Perry cinches in a headlock. Okada crawls to the ropes to break it. Okada blasts Perry with the Rainmaker. Perry dodges the dropkick that Okada tries to follow with. Okada counters a running knee, then delivers a second Rainmaker for the win.
Winner: Kazuchika Okada
After the match, The Don Callis Family surround Perry. Callis tells Perry there’s no shame in losing that match. Callis says Perry lacks focus and direction, but he can get support from DCF. Callis offers Perry a spot in DCF and a signing bonus. Perry says no and tries to take down DCF, but the numbers are too much. Luchasaurus runs down. Matt and Nick attack DCF with chair shots from behind. Luchasaurus chokeslams Hechicero and El Clon. Matt and Nick blasts Okada with a BTE Trigger. The follow with a superkick to Konosuke Takeshita. Luchasaurus chokeslams Rocky Romero as well.
We Hear From Mark Briscoe
Briscoe joins Tony Schiavone in the ring. Briscoe recalls having doubters and haters, but tonight he’s here with a singles championship. Briscoe tells the haters they can kiss his ass. Briscoe says he will defend his TNT Title against Daniel Garcia on AEW Collision. The Death Riders come out.
Wheeler Yuta says they call him a chicken because he has the mental capacity of one. Garcia says he feels bad for Briscoe because everything about him is sad. Garcia says he’ll be even sadder when Garcia beats him. Briscoe says Garcia has an ass whooping coming his way. Briscoe challenges Garcia to make a move. Garcia slaps the microphone out of Briscoe’s hand. Briscoe delivers a right hand to Garcia, who is then held back by Yuta and Marina Shafir.
Backstage, Kris Statlander attacks Triangle of Madness with a chair.
Tornado Tag: Adam Page & Swerve Strickland vs. The Opps (Katsuyori Shibata & Powerhouse Hobbs)
The action quickly spills into the crowd and concourse, where Strickland chokes out Shibata. Hobbs pours drinks onto Page. Shibata tosses Strickland over a merch table. Page slams Hobbs through a table. Shibata kicks Strickland off of a chair.
Back from break, Hobbs yanks Strickland to the outside. Page boots Shibata in the face. Shibata dodges a lariat, then low blows Page as Hobbs is talking to the referee. Strickland launches Hobbs into the steel steps, then nails Shibata with a Swerve Stomp. All four men trade strikes. Hobbs accidentally shoulder tackles Shibata. Page and Strickland deck Hobbs with rolling elbows. Page delivers a fallaway slam to Shibata. Strickland follows with a 450 Splash. Strickland drives Hobbs into the mat.
They powerbomb Hobbs through a table. Page follows with a Buckshot Lariat to Shibata. Strickland nails him with a House Call for the win.

Backstage, Don Callis says he is prepared to drag The Young Bucks through the courts for stealing his money. He then calls for a $1 million tag match next week.
Continental Classic Gold League: Kyle Fletcher vs. Mike Bailey
Bailey and Fletcher trade quick pinfall attempts. Fletcher kicks Bailey in the gut, then elbows him in the back. Fletcher follows with a stomp. Bailey takes down Fletcher with a pair of hurricanranas. Fletcher catches Bailey mid-crossbody, then delivers a backbreaker. Bailey answers with a dropkick off the middle rope. Fletcher dodges a running Shooting Star Press. Bailey sends Fletcher to the outside and wipes him with a spinning moonsault. Bailey rams Fletcher into the barricade. Fletcher recovers and drops Bailey on top of it.
Back from break, Bailey lines up for a roundhouse kick. Fletcher counters it with a kick of his own. Bailey answers with a pair of thrust kicks and a running one in the corner. Bailey leaps off the top with the Ultima Weapon for a near fall. Fletcher evades another jumping move from Bailey on the floor, then drops him onto the apron. Fletcher rocks Bailey with a running knee and a brainbuster for a near fall of his own. Fletcher and Bailey trade roll-ups. Fletcher lands a lariat. Bailey surprises Fletcher with a roll-up for the win.

Backstage, Adam Page says he will be watching Samoa Joe tonight. He adds that he will be coming for the AEW World Championship at Worlds End.
AEW World Title: Samoa Joe (c) (w/ Hook) vs. Eddie Kingston
Kingston and Joe lock up. Hook trips up Kingston against the ropes. The referee ejects Hook. Joe suplexes Kingston across the ring. He follows with right jabs. Kingston delivers a bulldog.
Back from break, Joe blasts Kingston with a series of knees. Kingston answers with a flurry of chops. Joe lands a series of kicks next. Kingston drops Joe with an exploder for a two count. Joe cinches in an STF. Kingston bites Joe’s finger to escape. Kingston spikes Joe with a DDT. Kingston and Joe trade strikes. Kingston delivers a cutter. Joe locks in the Coquina Clutch. Kingston taps out.
