This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite emanates from Manchester, England! We break it all down in this week’s AEW Dynamite recap!
Continental Classic Blue League: Jon Moxley vs. Roderick Strong
Moxley and Strong lock up. Strong cinches in an ankle lock. Moxley crawls to the corner to break it. Moxley delivers a headlock takedown. Strong answers with chops and a dragonscrew. He stomps Moxley in the corner. They trade strikes. Strong sends Moxley up and over to the outside. They continue fighting into the crowd. When they return to ringside, Moxley wipes out Strong with a dive through the ropes.
Back from break, Moxley cinches in a choke hold. Strong reaches the bottom rope to break it. Strong applies a Boston Crab. Moxley eventually kicks him away, then drops him with a Paradigm Shift. Moxley covers Strong, but he kicks out. Moxley follows with a Death Rider for the win.

Backstage, Eddie Kingston says his future opponents will see what he learned from facing Samoa Joe.
1 Million Dollars Tag: The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) vs. The Don Callis Family (Hechicero, Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita)
Takeshita and Omega lock up. Omega delivers an arm drag. Matt tags in and follows with an axe handle. Nick and Matt hit Takeshita with double shoulder tackles. Nick, Matt, and Omega strike Takeshita with triple kicks. Omega and Nick nail him with a backbreaker-stomp combo next.
Back from break, Takeshita rocks Nick with an elbow. Matt superkicks him in return. Matt and Nick deliver a sunset-flip-suplex combo to Takeshita. Matt and Nick evade a dropkick from Okada. They superkick Hechicero. Okada dropkicks Nick mid-air. Takeshita drops Matt with a piledriver and a German suplex. Hechicero slams Matt to the mat. Takeshita follows with a running knee. Omega breaks up the pinfall attempt that comes after. Okada dumps Omega to the outside.
Takeshita and Okada shove each other. Hechicero tries to make peace between them. Matt kicks Hechicero and Okada. Omega delivers a snap dragon suplex to Takeshita and Okada. Matt, Nick, and Okada blast Hechicero with a BTE Trigger. Omega follows with a V-Trigger. All three drive Hechicero into the mat for the win.
Winners: The Elite
After the match, Okada and Takeshita lay out The Young Bucks, then shove each other again. Omega runs in with a broom, forcing them to retreat.
We Hear From Adam Page, Swerve Strickland, & The Opps
Samoa Joe says the sum of Page and Strickland is volatile and unpredictable. Joe says he hopes Page and Strickland make it to Worlds End in one piece. Strickland says if the finish of Full Gear was different, he’d be going after Page. Strickland still says he and Page have mutual respect. Strickland says he has mutual hatred with Joe. Strickland says he will pay Joe back by taking the AEW World Championship and stomp him out. Strickland tells Page to bring his best and for Joe to bring his big guns.
Page remembers fighting together to end the tyranny of the Death Riders. Page says it could have been Joe as world champion before Page even won the title back. Page says it could have also been Strickland, but it was up to him at All In. Page recalls giving Joe an opportunity at WrestleDream and he failed, so he turned to Powerhouse Hobbs, Shibata, and Hook for help. Page claims that Joe is worse than the Death Riders. He adds that Joe doesn’t have any self respect or dignity. Page hopes that the legend of Joe isn’t remembered for the POS he is today. Page says he knew there’d be a time where he stood across the ring from Strickland again. Page says he would have given Strickland a chance, and if he had beaten him, he would have handed over the world title, but this is not the world we live in. Page vows that Joe will not leave Worlds End as champion.
Tony Schiavone brings out a title match contract. The lights go out, revealing MJF and his music. MJF signs the contract, then hands it to Schiavone to make the match a four-way. MJF says he’s executing his guaranteed title shot. MJF says pinning Page and doing it in front of his two rivals would bring him great joy and show that Page has no excuses. MJF says he still hates Joe for making the people turn on him. MJF says he needs to go down as an all-time great, and Joe had the people questioning MJF. MJF vows to end Joe’s title reign. Strickland says MJF should be afraid of him. MJF compares MJF to Diddy. MJF references Strickland’s run in WWE, which included him “twerking for Top Dolla.” MJF points out that Strickland is in his way now and is stomping around like he owns the place. MJF says AEW is his house and he’s come to collect the rent. MJF proclaims that he will reclaim the AEW World Championship.
Athena, Mercedes Mone & The MegaProblems (Marina Shafir & Megan Bayne) vs. Babes Of Wrath (Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale) & Timeless Love Bombs (Mina Shirakawa & Toni Storm)
Nightingale slams Cameron onto Mone. Athena clocks Cameron with a right hand. Cameron answers with an Eat Defeat. Shafir tags in and takes down Cameron. Cameron delivers a Russian leg sweep. Shirakawa follows with a spinning splash. Shirakawa and Shafir trade strikes. Shirakawa spikes Bayne with a DDT. Storm slams Shirakawa into Shafir. Bayne responds with a hurricanrana off the top.
Cameron sends Bayne to the outside. Shafir does the same to Cameron. Shirakawa wipes out Bayne and Shafir with a dive off the top. Athena follows with a dive through the ropes. Nightingale delivers a cannonball to the outside. Back in the ring, Athena rocks Nightingale with an O-Face. Mone pins Nightingale for the win.

Continental Classic Gold League: Pac vs. Kyle Fletcher
Pac delivers an arm drag takedown. Fletcher breaks free, only to be put in an armbar by Pac. Fletcher escapes again and slams Pac. Pac hits a hurricanrana. Fletcher then runs him over with a lariat on the floor. The action returns to the ring, with Fletcher cinching in a headlock. Pac breaks free and sends Fletcher through the ropes. He boots Fletcher in the chest, then wipes him out with another hurricanrana to the outside floor. When Pac returns to the ring, Fletcher superkicks him. Pac rocks Fletcher with a superplex off the top.
Back from break, Pac cinches in the Brutalizer, but Fletcher gets his foot on the bottom rope. Pac clotheslines Fletcher for a near fall. Pac drags Fletcher to the corner, then scales the turnbuckle. Fletcher trips him up and blasts him with a running knee. Fletcher drops him with a brainbuster for a near fall of his own. Fletcher and Pac meet up top, where Pac lands a poisionrana. Pac follows with a Black Arrow off the top for the win.
