Netflix has been pumping out new content left and right, it’s safe to say there is something for everybody. And we now have two reasons to get excited. First, Gina Rodriguez of “Jane the Virgin” will be Carmen Sandiego in a new Netflix film.
Netflix has bought the live-action rights to Carmen Sandiego and Gina has also been named a producer on the project. The second reason to get excited is Netflix will also be doing an animated series where Gina will also be the voice of Carmen Sandiego.
We absolutely love that Netflix is creating different types of shows. We’ve been seeing a lot more action series with leading women like Jessica Jones. So, it’s going to be a breath of fresh air to see Gina do her thing as Carmen Sandiego.
