Demi Lovato’s “Tell Me You Love Me” Album Deserves More Love and Here’s Why

Okay, time to brag about an album that I feel is definitely UNDERRATED! I think we need to talk more about Demi Lovato’s 6th studio album ” Tell Me You Love Me” When the album first came out, I downloaded it on Spotify, listened to it once and tweeted about it ASAP! And although I’ve found others who worship it as much as I do, I don’t think it’s being talked about enough.

So, here are a few reasons why we need to praise this album more.

1.NEXT LEVEL VOCALS.

We’ve always known that Demi Lovato has great voice, we’ve always known she’s talented. But I think this is the album where we can really hear the growth and maturity in her voice. It’s no longer the “I am A Disney Girl” voice. Don’t get me wrong I still love her old music. But TMYLM is top-notch, next level great!

2. HONESTY

As we saw in Demi Lovato’s Youtube documentary ‘Simply Complicated’ , Demi has been through so much! From struggles with her father, drug-abuse , her wild romantic ride with Wilmer Valderrama to even her eating disorder. Demi is officially a woman who demi-lovato.jpghas been through so many difficulties that she is no longer sugar-coating things. She is honest and raw in this album.  She curses, she talks about the real-life struggles of romances, ending friendships, daddy issues and so much more.

I like to call this the grown-up woman album.

3. The Sound

When I first listened to this album, I felt a Mariah Carey vibe. There are so many similarities and as a huge lover of Mariah Carey, it made me love the album more.  They had the honesty in the lyrics, the beats are so soothing and there are also a lot of hip-hop  and R&B elements to it. The blend overall is so good. And very enjoyable.

So that is why I think this album deserves way more love! So if you’re looking for a new album to discover, I highly suggest checking out Demi Lovato’s ” Tell Me You Love Me.”
