The action horror story about a man who gains new physical abilities after an experimental AI upgrade and seeks vengeance for those people who left him to die and killed his wife is coming to DVD and Blu-Ray!
After his wife is killed during a brutal mugging that also leaves him paralyzed, Grey Trace (Marshall-Green) is approached by a billionaire inventor with an experimental cure that will “upgrade” his body. The cure is an Artificial Intelligence implant called STEM–gives Grey physical abilities. He then seeks out to claim vengeance against those who murdered his wife and left him for dead.
The film questions the nature of human versus computer and shows as Grey’s life is turned upside down in a technology-controlled world.
Upgrade stars Logan Marshall-Greene as Grey Trace, Richard Anastasios, and Rosco Campbell. And is produced by Jason Blum (Get Out, Split) and written, directed, and executive produced by mastermind Leigh Whannell (Saw, Insidious franchise).
