This week WWE announced that the lucky city to host the 37th edition of Wrestlemania would be none other than Los Angeles. The event is set to take place on March 28, 2021 inside the city’s newest entertainment venue, SoFi Stadium.
“LA is the entertainment capital of the world, it is the city of champions so I think that the biggest event spectacular, Wrestlemania, naturally belongs in the biggest stadium in the world, Sofi Stadium.”

The last time WWE held their biggest night of the year in Los Angeles was back in April 2005, for Wrestlemania 21, making it a 16-year long wait for the city.
WWE Raw Women’s champion, Becky Lynch, told Instinct Culture that she’s looking forward to Wrestlemania 37, for one simple reason.
“This is my adopted hometown, I live here so this is only like 15 minutes from my house. It’s pretty exciting because, one, I get to sleep in my own bed before Wrestlemania and then I get to home and sleep in my own bed after Wrestlemania which is a nice big treat. “

One of the coolest attributes about Wrestlemania is that the entire week leading up to the big event has become the largest wrestling weekend of all-time. With fans traveling from all over the world to attend the several events prior to the show and of course Wrestlemania.
WWE has also announced which shows they will be having that week, take a look.
Staples Center located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, will be hosting Friday Night SmackDown®, NXT® TakeOver™ and Monday Night Raw®.
Then the Los Angeles Convention Center right next to the Staples Center will host WrestleMania Axxess, WWE’s interactive fan festival and the 2021 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Los Angeles will also benefit tremendously from hosting the event here, according to WWE, in the past 13 years, WrestleMania has generated more than $1.3 billion in cumulative economic impact for the cities that have hosted the event.
Last year Wrestlemania 35 was held in the New York City and New Jersey area, and ended up generating over $165.4 million dollars.
This year, WrestleMania 36 will take place on Sunday, April 5 from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida.
