The first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is scheduled to take place Wednesday night on NXT. WWE announced 12 teams for this year’s tournament, with Breezango ( Tyler Breeze & Fandango) vs Undisputed Era (Adam Cole & Roderick Strong) being one of the first round matches of the night.
Ahead of the show, we had the opportunity to discuss the tournament with WWE Superstar Fandango.
“We kinda checked off the box of comedy, being able to cut promos and doing the fashion files on Smackdown and coming to NXT, I think we’re proving to ourselves and to the audience that we could go in the ring,” Fandango continued, ” I think starting off with the Undisputed Era, Cole and Strong, tomorrow night is definitely going to open a lot of eyes to what we can do in the ring.”
Fandango also shared his favorite memory of the late Dusty Rhodes.
