Kofi Kingston is no stranger to Elimination Chamber matches having been part of several throughout his time in WWE. In fact, part of what created the KOFIMANIA movement took place at the 2019 Elimination Chamber, when Kingston was added as a last minute replacement and was one of the final two men in the Chamber that year. Now flash forward to 2021 and once again Kofi Kingston finds himself in a similar situation. This past Monday on RAW, The Miz revealed that he would no longer take part in the Chamber match and was later defeated by Kofi Kingston who took his spot. This Sunday Kingston will once again have an opportunity to become champion once again.
Drew McIntyre will defend his WWE Championship against five other men inside of the Elimination Chamber including AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, Sheamus, and Kofi Kingston.
Therefore ahead of the Elimination Chamber taking place this Sunday, I had the opportunity to chat with Kofi Kingston not only about the Chamber match for the WWE Championship but also his thoughts on Big E as a singles competitor, his future goals and aspirations within WWE and much more.
