Toni Storm Appears To Have Lost All Memory of Mariah May

Toni Storm is having a difficult time following her loss to Mariah May at AEW All In.

After dropping the title to her former mentee/friend, Storm was seen dancing her way out of Wembley Stadium and wasn’t heard from again for weeks.

She made her first in-ring appearance since All In on today’s Stardom show at Korakuen Hall. It was also her first match for the promotion since 2019.

Storm teamed with Mina Shirakawa in a win over AZM and IWGP Women’s Champion Mayu Iwatani. They were interviewed backstage after the win, and based on her comments, it appears Storm has lost all memory of Mariah May.

“Mina san, I’ve missed you, darling,” Storm said to Shirakawa before they shared a long embrace.

“We are a really good team,” Shirakawa said.

“Oh Mina, I think we are the best tag team, no no, the best friends. You are like family,” Storm responded to her.

“We are good family. You and Mina and Mariah,” Shirakawa said.

“I’ve never heard that name in my life,” Storm answered. She then stared blankly into the distance as Mina appeared confused.

Shirakawa now appears to be in an interesting position. She returned to AEW and embraced with May at Grand Slam, but is also aligned with Storm in Stardom.

Storm has also been announced as making her CMLL debut later next month as well. She will be wrestling La Catalina at the promotion’s event on October 11. It’s not clear when Storm plans on making her return to AEW.
