Former AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm is having trouble dealing with losing her title to Mariah May at AEW All In.
Storm was seen dancing out of Wembley Stadium after the match, and she hasn’t returned to AEW since. A month later, she popped up in Stardom and lost an IWGP Women’s World title shot to Mayu Iwatani. She then traveled to Mexico, where she lost her CMLL debut to La Catalina at Arena Mexico last Friday.
During an appearance on the All Elite Show on Fox Sports Mexico on Monday, Storm was asked about potentially returning to AEW. However, according to her, she’s considering staying in Mexico permanently.
Storm said:
“Life just is what it is right now. I’m thinking of moving here permanently. I’m thinking of setting up my own taco stand and living a happy, peaceful life in Mexico. I think it would be best.”
“Yes and everybody will come to Toni’s Tacos!”
“That’s my business; that’s my next venture. Maybe I’ll never go back to AEW. I think tacos is it. Remember, Toni’s Tacos. Chin up, tits out, and watch for the taco!”
Storm also addressed her mentee turned rival, Mariah May, on the show, telling the host that she’ll never trust anyone in wrestling ever again.
“Mariah May, she ruined me. But never mind, she’s gone now. She’s out of my life and I’m in Mexico, and life is good. Don’t trust anybody. Don’t bother with anybody. They’ll just stab you in the back, slap you in the face. It’s a terrible time.”
AEW just began airing on Fox Sports Mexico. The station currently airs WWE programming as well, but it will lose it in January when WWE moves its content to Netflix. They announced a deal with AEW earlier this month.
