Vince McMahon Preparing To Launch Entertainment Company (Report)

According to PWInsider, Vince McMahon is reportedly working on launching a new “entertainment hub company” that will fund, develop, and produce film and television projects.

The new company, which will likely be located in Los Angeles, is not expected to compete with WWE or develop wrestling-related content.

McMahon’s new company will also have several former WWE employees in its employ.

One prominent former WWE employee involved in the project is Brad Blum, who previously served as WWE Chief Operating Officer. Blum is a longtime McMahon ally. He left the company in May, not long after being identified as “Corporate Officer No. 2” in Janel Grant’s lawsuit.

Another notable name linked to McMahon’s company is Kristen Prouty, former WWE Senior Vice President of Entertainment Relations. Prouty, known for bridging WWE talent with Hollywood and securing high-profile guest appearances, was let go earlier this year as part of post-Endeavor merger layoffs. She previously worked as a casting director, and her Hollywood connections could play a role in McMahon’s new entertainment-based projects.

The 79-year-old McMahon resigned from TKO Group Holdings earlier this year in the wake of the lawsuit filed against him, WWE, and John Laurinitis by Grant in January. He was also named along with his wife Linda McMahon, WWE, and TKO Group Holdings in a lawsuit by five survivors of the infamous Ring Boy Scandal, alleging McMahon knew about the abuse the boys suffered and did nothing to stop it.

McMahon is said to be hoping to launch his new company once his legal issues are resolved.
