WWE Raw October 28, 2024: Jimmy & Jey Uso Reconcile, Dominik Mysterio Battles Damian Priest, Tag Title Contenders Determined

This week’s episode of WWE Raw emanates from the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania! Jimmy and Jey Uso fight off the new Bloodline. Zelina Vega battles Ivy Nile, while Ludwig Kaiser faces Sheamus. WWE determines the number one contenders to the WWE World Tag Team Championships. Dominik Mysterio squares off with his former friend Damian Priest, and more!

We Hear From Jey & Jimmy Uso

Jey reflects on the last few weeks, which included losing the Intercontinental Championship, family drama, and costing The Bloodline the WWE Tag Team Championships. Jey says there’s only one person he wants to talk to right now. This prompts the arrival of his brother, Jimmy Uso.

Jimmy thanks Jey for what he did last week on SmackDown. He also urges Jey that they need to be together moving forward in order to take down the new Bloodline. Jey reminds Jimmy that the last time he saw him, they were fighting each other at WrestleMania. Jey says a lot has changed since then, though, such as Jey’s singles run. Jey says none of the titles top being Jimmy’s twin brother. Jimmy goes for a hug, but Jey blocks it. Jey says they still have work to do in regards to their relationship. If they’re going to do the work, Jey wants to be sure they’re nobody’s sidepiece. He wants Jimmy and Jey to be themselves.

Jimmy encourages Jey to squash his beef with Roman Reigns on Friday. Jey agrees to be there. Out of nowhere, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa attack Jimmy and Jey. Solo Sikoa then signals Jacob Fatu to get in the ring. He does as such, leveling both Jimmy and Jey. Jacob sets a chair up on Jey Uso as he lays in the corner. Upon charging toward him, Jey throws the chair at Jacob. Meanwhile, Jimmy escapes the grasp of Tama and Loa. Together, Jimmy and Jey fight them all off.

Backstage, WWE Raw General Manager informs Dominik Mysterio he’ll be facing Damian Priest later tonight. Finn Balor warns Mysterio that he needs to be careful tonight. Mysterio tells his stablemates he wants to go out alone tonight in order to prove himself.

Ludwig Kaiser vs. Sheamus

Kaiser and Sheamus lock up, with the latter pushing the former into the corner. Kaiser and Sheamus trade strikes. Sheamus connects with a big chop and a short arm lariat. Kaiser connects with a lariat of his own. Kaiser whips Sheamus into the ring post on the outside. Kaiser looks to slam Sheamus’ arm against the ring post, but Sheamus blocks it, pulling Kaiser into the ring post instead. Sheamus looks for a powerbomb on the outside, but Kaiser counters with a guillotine. Sheamus rams Kaiser back-first into the steel steps.

Back from break, Sheamus takes down Kaiser with axe handles. He goes for a Brogue Kick, but Kaiser pulls down the top rope, causing Sheamus to fall to the outside instead. Sheamus hooks Kaiser’s arms around the ropes for a series of forearm strikes. Sheamus looks for White Noise, but Kaiser escapes and slams Sheamus to the mat. Kaiser covers Sheamus for a near fall. Kaiser delivers a series of slaps to Sheamus. Sheamus responds with chops. Kaiser connects with a dropkick. Sheamus fights back with a knee and a Brogue Kick for the win.

Winner: Sheamus

In a pre-recorded promo, Rhea Ripley warns Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez that they’ll have to kill her in order to stop her from regaining the WWE Women’s World Championship.

Backstage, Sami Zayn tells Jey Uso he wants to talk. Zayn asks Jey if everything is okay between him, Roman Reigns, and his brother Jimmy. Jey says Solo Sikoa is worse than Roman Reigns. Zayn points out that Jey doesn’t have to be involved with the Bloodline drama and could go back to doing his own thing. Jey says Zayn wouldn’t understand the situation because he isn’t family.

In another pre-recorded promo, Gunther calls Cody Rhodes a gutless champion. He also points out that Rhodes, again, dragged the people closest to him into business. This time it’s Randy Orton. Gunther looks ahead to him and Kaiser facing Orton and Rhodes on SmackDown this week. Gunther says Rhodes is going to be choked out by him soon, much like Randy was at Bash in Berlin.

Zelina Vega (w/ Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) vs. Ivy Nile (w/ Julius and Brutus Creed)

Vega slaps Nile. Nile then drives Vega into the corner and connects with a running kick. Nile charges at Vega again, but Vega sidesteps. Vega lands a knee to the back of Nile’s neck. She follows up with a meteora on the outside.

Back from break, Vega counters a suplex then ascends the top rope. Vega comes down with a moonsault for a near fall. Nile goes for a cover herself, which also gets a two count. Vega takes Nile down to her knees then connects with her own knee. While Julius distracts the referee, Vega goes for Code Red. Brutus, however, pulls Nile out of the ring. The Creed Brothers fight with Del Toro and Wilde on the outside. Back in the ring, Nile lands a swinging uranage for the win.

Winner: Ivy Nile

Backstage, Jimmy Uso tells Jey Uso his plan to talk to Sami Zayn.

Seth Rollins & Bronson Reed Brawl, Again

Rollins says he is on the hunt for a monster, specifically Bronson Reed. Rollins says he’s also a monster, though. Rollins credits Reed for reminding him what he’s capable of, which Rollins likes. Reed appears on the Titantron and says he won’t be causing chaos in the building. He does, however, invite Rollins to fight him in the parking lot. Rollins accepts the invitation and bolts to the back, then to the parking lot.

Rollins and Reed scrap in the parking lot. Reed tosses Rollins on top of a car then pushes him on top of the nearby crates. Rollins slams the truck door into Reed’s face then stomps him on the car hood. Reed rises to his feet, only to meet a kick from Rollins. Rollins slams a crate onto Reed’s head. Rollins throws a garbage can at Rollins. Reed follows Rollins into the technical truck, before slamming Rollins and himself through a table.

Backstage, The Miz approaches Truth and apologies to him. Miz says he needs his family more than ever and wants to reunite with Truth. Truth slaps Miz and wishes him good luck with the Wyatt Sicks.

WWE Tag Titles #1 Contenders Match: The New Day vs. LWO vs. War Raiders

Kogi Kingston, Dragon Lee, and Ivar start off the match. Kingston and Lee take down Ivar with a double dropkick. Ivar crashes into both of them. He goes for a fall on Lee, but Woods charges in to break it up. Ivar and Erik throw Kingston and Xavier Woods into one another. They then launch Lee into Mysterio, Woods, and Kingston on the outside.

Back from break, Erik, Woods, and Mysterio fight back and forth. Erik throws Mysterio onto Woods then tags in Ivar. War Raiders rain down with fists on Mysterio. Ivar slams Woods to the mat. Erik then slams Ivar onto Woods. Mysterio takes down the War Raiders with a pair of Tornado DDTs. Mysterio goes to tag in Lee, but Woods attacks Lee, then Mysterio.

Ivar reenters the ring and rocks Woods with a roundhouse kick. Woods tags in Kingston. Kingston levels both Ivar and Mysterio and follows up with a double Boom Drop. Kingston hits SOS on Mysterio. Lee breaks up the subsequent pinfall. Woods wipes out the men with a dropkick to the outside. Kingston kicks Ivar to the outside as well. Kingston descends from the top rope and lands on all the men on the outside.

Back from break, Lee, Erik, and Kingston square off. Lee double stomps Kingston in the corner, then lands a DDT on Erik in the center of the ring. Lee takes down Woods and Ivar as well. Lee goes for a pin on Kingston, but it’s broken up by Erik. Erik, Lee. and Kingston go up top. While Mysterio lands a hurricarana on Erik, Lee hits a powerbomb on Kingston for a near fall. Everyone hits their signature moves on each other.

Lee sets up Kingston for a 619, then runs through the ropes, landing on Woods. Mysterio goes to hit the 619, but is pulled to the outside by Chad Gable. Gable applies an Ankle Lock on Mysterio. Meanwhile, the War Raiders double team Kingston with a springboard clothesline for the win.

Winners: War Raiders

Backstage, Karrion Kross tells The Miz he is going to find Bo Dallas tonight and ask why he getting into The Final Testament’s Business. Or Kross will break Miz’s legs.

Backstage, Jimmy Uso is still looking for Sami Zayn. He and Jey Uso stumble across Zayn talking to Solo Sikoa in the parking lot. Jimmy reminds Jey that all they have is each other and Roman Reigns.

Dominik Mysterio vs. Damian Priest

Priest throws Mysterio into the corner and connects with an uppercut. Priest launches him into another corner and taunts him. Mysterio knocks Priest off his feet and sets up for a 619. Priest quickly gets back to his feet and takes Mysterio off his. Priest sends Mysterio to the outside and whips him into the barricade. Mysterio pushes Priest into the ring post, then dives onto him.

Back from break, Mysterio goes for Three Amigos, which Priest counters with a back body drop. Priest connects with a series of kicks and a slap to Mysterio. Priest hits an elbow in the corner and slams him into the mat for a near fall. Priest rocks Mysterio with a big clothesline for another near fall. Priest looks for a South of Heaven, but Mysterio sees it and rolls to the outside. Priest runs and pushes him over the announce table.

While Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez distract the referee, JD McDonagh and Carlito attack Priest. Priest fights back with a chair, blasting McDonagh in the back with it. Priest hits Carlito with it in the ring as well. With Priest distracted, Mysterio rolls him up for the win.

Winner: Dominik Mysterio

After the match, Priest delivers a Razor’s Edge to Dominik Mysterio. Priest grabs a chair and repeatedly slams it against the back of Mysterio. Priest leaves the ring, but then comes back for more. The referee begs Priest to stop his attack, but eventually gives up. Carlito reenters the ring to try and save Mysterio, but simply eats a South of Heaven from Priest. Priest finishes off Mysterio with another South of Heaven.
