Omos Returning to WWE After Undefeated Pro Wrestling NOAH Run

After three weeks of winning matches in Japan, Omos says he’s returning to WWE.

At Saturday’s Pro Wrestling NOAH event in Osaka, Omos announced that his three-and-a-half week excursion with the promotion has ended, although he vowed to return in the future. He also relinquished half of the GHC Tag Team Championships to his Team 2000X stablemate, Daga, making Daga and Jack Morris the new champions.

Omos debuted with Pro Wrestling NOAH on New Year’s Day, teaming with Morris at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. The duo captured the GHC Tag Team Titles by defeating Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura.

Omos went 6-0 during his time with NOAH, including five tag team victories and one win in a 2-on-1 handicap match against Tadasuke & Yuto Kikuchi.

Omos has been used sparingly by WWE over the last year. Besides house shows, Omos only wrestled on WWE programming twice in 2024: the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown before WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia and the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble match.
