2K has announced a special edition of WWE 2K25 featuring The Undertaker.
Few details have been officially revealed for the upcoming game, including a release date. However, recent editions have been released in March, and 2K has previously said the game will be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2025.
WWE Games’ social media accounts revealed early Monday morning that a “Deadman Edition” of this year’s game will be released featuring Taker on the cover. However, further details regarding what is included in the special edition have not been made available. Previous games have featured legends such as John Cena and Rey Mysterio on the cover of special editions and the focus of the game’s Showcase Mode, which allows players to recreate famous moments from their careers.

Additional hints about WWE 2K25 surfaced earlier this month during the debut episode of Raw on Netflix. In a backstage segment, Roman Reigns told Paul Heyman they needed a platform for him to be acknowledged on now that he’s once again the Tribal Chief. As the two left the room, the WWE 2K25 logo appeared on the door as it closed.
Roman Reigns is believed to be featured on the cover of this year’s standard edition of the game, as reported by f4wonline.com’s Bryan Alvarez. Other rumors regarding the upcoming game include the return of intergender matches.
