WWE Raw March 24, 2025: IC Title Matches, Cena & Rhodes Faceoff, Jey Uso In Tag Action

This week’s episode of WWE Raw emanates from Glasgow, Scotland! Bron Breakker and Lyra Valkyria defend their respective Intercontinental Championships. Jey Uso is in tag action with a mystery partner. John Cena and Cody Rhodes faceoff and more.

We break it all down in this week’s WWE Raw recap!

We Hear From John Cena

Cena arrives to a chorus of boos. Cena says the WWE Universe knows he can pick apart any member of them now. He points out the kid that he called out last week. The crowd delivers an expletive-laced chant at him. Cena says he doesn’t need to single out anyone in Glasgow because they are all horrible people. Cena says he paid attention and was testing the WWE Universe the last 25 years. Cena says he knows more about the fans than they know about themselves. Cena points out the crowd’s negative comments they made about the WWE Championship spinner belt. Cena says they felt like the spinner belt disrespected their legacy.

Cena declares his intention to ruin wrestling for every fan and wrestler. He states that he’ll make history at WrestleMania when he wins his 17th world championship. Cena says we will forever say his name and he will retire the championship with him. Cena vows to bring the championship home with him, forcing WWE to make a new one. He says he will be the last real champion in WWE and there is nothing the fans can do to stop him.

Cody Rhodes’ music hits. Rhodes tells Cena he made a massive mistake by saying what he just said. Rhodes says Cena should know how hard he fought just to hold the WWE Championship one time. Rhodes lays down his title on the mat and gives Cena a chance to take his title. Cena appears ready to fight Rhodes, but instead backs away. Rhodes tells Cena that his need f0rmthe championship does not outweigh the people’s right to keep it. Rhodes says the champ is standing in the center of the ring (aka himself).

Jey & Jimmy Uso vs. Austin Theory & Grayson Waller

Jey and Theory lock up, with former dropping the latter with a lariat. Waller tags in. Jey rocks him with an uppercut and an enziguri. Jimmy tags in. He and Jey land elbow drops on Waller. The they send Waller and Theory over the top rope. Jimmy goes flying onto both of them. Jimmy knocks Waller down, then chops him. Theory tags in. Jimmy rocks Waller with a right hand. Theory hits Jimmy with an elbow strike.

Back from break, Jey delivers a series of right hands to Theory. Jey follows up with a step-up enziguri. He superkicks Waller and Theory, the latter of whom for a near fall. Waller and Theory double team Jey. Waller goes to the second rope, but misses an elbow drop on Jey. Jimmy and Jey collaborate for a Samoan Drop. Waller sweeps Jimmy off his feet on the ropes. Jey spears Waller. Jimmy and Jey land a 1D on Theory for the win.

Winners: Jimmy & Jey Uso

After the match, Gunther and Jey Uso trade strikes. Jey lands two superkicks. Jey looks for a spear, but trips, allowing Gunther to hit some punches. Jimmy Uso makes the save with a chair, prompting Gunther to retreat.

Backstage, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez prepare for the latter’s title match against Lyra Valkyria.

Elsewhere, Chad Gable claims he can’t wrestle tonight because he’s sick. Gable suggests that Dragon Lee face El Grande Americano in his place.

Women’s IC Title: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Raquel Rodriguez (w/ Liv Morgan)

Raquel slings Valkyria across the ring. Valkyria applies a head lock, which Raquel escapes. Valkyria looks for a suplex, but Raquel counters. Valkyria sends Raquel through the ropes. She then looks for a dropkick, but Raquel catches her. Valkyria bounces Raquel off the announce table with a hurricanrana. Valkyria goes up top. Raquel rocks her with a big boot upon her descent.

Back from break, Raquel drops Valkyria with a suplex slam combo. Valkyria goes up top and lands a leg drop for a near fall. Raquel crushes Valkyria in the corner. She follows up with a corkscrew elbow. Valkyria leaps off the top with a crossbody, but Raquel catches her. Valkyria counters into a DDT. Valkyria confronts Morgan at ringside, then dropkicks her. Raquel looks for a Tejana Bomb. Valkyria reverses into a roll up for the win.

Winner (And Still): Lyra Valkyria

After the match, Morgan and Raquel begin beating down Valkyria. Bayley runs down to make the save. Raquel looks to slam Bayley, but Valkyria interferes. Bayley and Valkyria send Raquel over the top rope.

Backstage, Jimmy Uso says the current version of Jey Uso cannot beat Gunther at WrestleMania, but the version that won the Royal Rumble can. Jimmy hypes up Jey, then challenges Gunther to a match next week. Gunther agrees. Jimmy slaps him.

We Hear From Adam Pearce

In the ring, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce proclaims the WWE Women’s World Championship match will only be between IYO SKY and Bianca Belair. Pearce says Rhea Ripley is also ordered a rematch, but it will not be at WrestleMania. SKY’s music hits. She says she’s willing to take on both Ripley and Belair at WrestleMania. Bianca Belair comes out next and says she earned her spot at WrestleMania. Furthermore, she isn’t letting Ripley weasel her way into her title match. Ripley comes out next. She says she doesn’t care about WrestleMania and she doesn’t care who she has to go through to get the title back in her possession. Ripley says all she wants is her rematch.

Pearce confirms that Ripley will get her rematch against SKY, with the winner going on to defend against Belair at WrestleMania. Belair and Ripley continue arguing. SKY spikes Ripley with a DDT. Ripley rocks Belair with a big boot. SKY delivers an uppercut on Ripley. Belair sends Ripley over the top rope. SKY looks for a missile dropkick on Belair, but Belair catches her. Belair then launches SKY into Ripley on the outside.

Backstage, Dominik Mysterio offers Penta a spot in the Judgment Day. He tells him to think about it before giving him an answer.

Elsewhere, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods demand a championship match at WrestleMania. Adam Pearce isn’t having it, though, and shoos them off. He then proclaims Bianca Belair as the special guest referee for Ripley vs. SKY next week.

El Grande Americano vs. Dragon Lee

Americano sends Lee flying with an arm drag. Americano clotheslines him to the floor. Lee responds with a hurricanrana and a dive through the ropes. Back in the ring, Americano suplexes Lee off the apron and onto the floor.

Back from break, Lee stomps Americano on the apron. Americano and Lee exchange chops. Lee rocks him with a kick. Americano drives Lee into the corner. He covers him, but Lee kicks out. Americano goes up top. Lee dodges a moonsault and nails him with a sit-out powerbomb. Americano takes off Lee’s mask and applies an Ankle Lock. Lee taps out.

Winner: El Grande Americano

We Hear From CM Punk

Punk says he lost the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber, the latter of which he blames on Seth Rollins. Punk says his issues with Rollins and Roman Reigns are business, whereas for them it’s personal. Punk claims Rollins is crying because he overshadows him. Punk then claims that Paul Heyman isn’t just Reigns’ WiseMan. Punk says this Friday in SmackDown will be business for him because there will be a contract signing. Punk tells Rollins and Reigns to fuel up their jets because he’ll see them for the signing. Punk points out that neither of them have defeated him without the other’s help. Punk says he brought Rollins and Reigns into the business, and he can’t wait to take them out of it.

Backstage, Bron Breakker says he will beat Penta tonight.

IC Title: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Penta

Penta connects with a pair of kicks. Breakker runs the ropes and runs over Penta with a clothesline. Penta sends Breakker flying with a hurricanrana. Breakker responds with a dive onto the announce table, which takes himself and Penta out.

Back from commercial, Breakker clocks Penta with a knee. Breakker looks for a spear, but Penta intercepts it. Penta drives Breakker into the mat. Breakker connects with a big right hand. Penta lands a backstabber. Breakker drops Penta with a pair of knees. Penta superkicks Breakker. They both go up top. Penta sends Breakker flying with a head scissors off of it. They both go crashing to the outside. Penta lands a Mexican Destroyer, then covers Breakker. Breakker kicks out. Penta turns his attention to Dominik Mysterio and Carlito at ringside. Breakker lands a pair of back elbows. Breakker lands a Frankensteiner off the top. Breakker calls for a spear. Dominik distracts the referee. Breakker spears Carlito. Dominik hits Breakker in the back of the knee, causing the referee to call for the bell.

Winner (Via DQ): Bron Breakker

From behind, Finn Balor hits Breakker with a steel chair. Dominik slams the chair against Breakker as well. Dominik then hands the chair to Penta. Penta tosses the chair to Dominik and superkicks him. Balor stomps away at Penta, then strikes Breakker with the chair again. Balor follows up with a Coup De Grace to Penta.
