This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite emanates from Chicago, Illinois! Adam Copeland addresses his surprise return at AEW All In. “Hangman” Adam Page is in action following his world title win. Kris Statlander takes on Thekla, Willow Nightingale, and Queen Aminata, and much more!

We Hear From “Hangman” Adam Page
Newly-crowned AEW World Champion Adam Page makes his way to the ring to a sea of cheers and “you deserve it” chants. Page says it’s the people who deserve it. Page says he and his colleagues do all of this because of the people. He adds that they deserve the SEE the AEW World Championship and to have someone to hold and carry it with more gratitude than they’ll ever know. Page says he and others fought for nine months to free the title from Jon Moxley.
Page thanks others who fought along the way, like Orange Cassidy, Jay White, Adam Copeland, The Opps, Bryan Danielson, and Darby Allin. Page also thanks Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland. Page says he doesn’t know whether Strickland helped at All In for him or AEW, but he is thankful either way. Page says All In was a rollercoaster weekend that resulted in him shedding some tears. Page says people like Moxley would say that makes him weak, but he wants them to look at him. Page says he has a wife and two kids who love him. He also has fans who can look at him and respect him. Page says if we want to know what kind of man he is tonight, he is once again the champion of AEW.
Mascara Dorada vs. Kyle Fletcher (w/ Don Callis & Lance Archer)
Fletcher rains down right hands on Dorada. Dorada connects with a chop, then sends Fletcher flying across the ring with an arm drag. Dorada follows up with a missile dropkick. Fletcher knocks Dorada to the outside with a high boot. Dorada returns to favor by leaping onto Fletcher on the outside. They return to the ring, with Fletcher driving Dorada into the mat with a side slam.
Back from break, Dorada rolls up Fletcher for a two count. He then takes him down with a hurricanrana. Fletcher rolls to the outside, only to take a Shooting Star Press from Dorada. The action returns to the ring, with Dorada hitting a Code Red. Fletcher and Dorada meet up top. Dorada sends Fletcher flying with a hurricanrana. Dorada follows up with a 450 Splash for another near fall. Dorada lays in chops on Fletcher, then rocks him with a kick. Fletcher staggers forward and gets launches into the turnbuckle. Fletcher drives Dorada into another turnbuckle, then finishes shim off with a Brain Buster.
Winner: Kyle Fletcher
Backstage, Matt and Nick Jackson enter the arena, without their EVP powers. Ricochet mocks them and laughs. Matt says they feel disrespected. Don Callis calls this an abomination, then approaches them about potentially doing business. Matt says they will never join The Don Callis Family, but are open to working together. Matt and Nick embrace Callis.
The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) & The Don Callis Family (Hechicero & Josh Alexander) vs. JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey), Bandido & Brody King
Alexander and King lock up. They trade chops, Alexander tags in Hechicero. Bandido tags in for his team and sends Hechicero flying with an arm drag. Bandido lands a springboard hurricanrana. Knight and Bailey double team Hechicero with a hip toss. Knight takes down Matt and Nick with a springboard crossbody. He and Bailey then wipe them out with dives to the outside. Knight knocks Alexander off the apron. Nick knees Knight in the midsection. Matt sends Bandido flying with a hurricanrana. Nick and Alexander team up with a doomsday kick to Knight on the outside. Nick and Matt hits a stomp-powerbomb combo on Bailey. Nick then dives onto King and Bandido on the outside.
Back from break, Hechicero slams Knight to the mat. Alexander does the same. Matt and Nick look for the EVP Trigger, but then realize they don’t hold that title anymore. Knight capitalizes on their pause with a double dropkick. He tags in Bailey, who dropkicks Alexander and Hechicero. Bailey fires off rapid kicks on Nick. He then kicks Matt down to the mat. Bailey missile dropkicks Nick. Nick responds with a knee in the corner. Matt and Nick try to roll up Bailey, but he responds with jumping knees.
King wipes out Alexander and Hechicero with clotheslines. King drops Alexander on his back, then sends him over the top rope. King delivers a cannonball to Hechicero in the corner. King levels Matt, Nick, and Alexander with a dive through the ropes. Bandido follows up with a springboard moonsault. Bailey takes out Matt and Nick with a dive. Knight does the same to Alexander. Bandido hits an avalanche slam on Hechicero for a near fall. Matt, Nick, and Alexander triple team King. Bailey rocks Alexander with a knee, then a hurricanrana. Nick accidently superkicks Matt. Bandido hits a cutter on Nick. He follows up with a backbreaker. Alexander spikes Bandido. Matt and Nick superkick Bandido. Hechicero then puts him in a sleeper hold. The referee calls for the bell.

We Hear From Adam Copeland
Copeland says he didn’t return at All In to save Christian Cage. Copeland calls Cage an asshole and points out that he’s only tried to make his time in AEW miserable. Copeland recalls his past run-ins with Cage. Copeland says Cage cashed in his world title shot during Copeland’s title match out of jealousy. Copeland doesn’t blame the Patriarchy for turning on Cage. Copeland even warned Cage about it. He now hopes Cage is pulling his brain out of his ass. Copeland says he came back to get his hands on FTR.
Copeland recalls his return to wrestling five years ago and FTR being the first people he told about being cleared. Copeland says he knew FTR would help him get back into shape. Copeland and FTR also discussed teaming together sometime. When they finally did, however, Copeland says FTR started complaining about feeling overshadowed. FTR also apparently claimed Copeland was holding them back from winning tag gold. Copeland says FTR put him on the shelf for four months, which is a lot considering he doesn’t have a lot of time left in his career. Copeland reiterates that he came back to end FTR.
Stokely Hathaway comes to the ring with AEW security. Stokely says FTR predicted what Copeland would do tonight, which is talking about wanting revenge on FTR. Stokely says Spike, Copeland’s weapon, is a liability. Stokely announces that if Copeland interferes in FTR’s matches or attacks them moving forward, Copeland will be fired. Stokely says FTR is not afraid of Copeland; they are focused on the AEW Tag Team Championships. Stokely implores Copeland to find a hobby and leave FTR alone.
Copeland points out that he can still get near Stokely. Copeland takes down both members of security standing beside Stokely. Copeland lines up for a spear and hits Stokely with it.
$100,000 Four-Way: Kris Statlander vs. Queen Aminata vs. Thekla vs. Willow Nightingale
Thekla rocks Nightingale with an elbow, then sends Statlander flying with a hurricanrana. Statlander drops Thekla with a vertical suplex. Thekla responds with a thrust kick. Aminata pulls her to the outside. Statlander lands a baseball slide to Thekla. Aminata follows with a running knee to Statlander. Nightingale intercepts her pinfall attempt.
Thekla boots Aminata against the ropes. Nightingale drops Thekla with a fisherman carry backbreaker. Aminata headbutts Nightingale off the apron. Thekla pushes Aminata off the turnbuckle, then leaps onto Nightingale and Statlander.
Back from break, Thekla sends Nightingale flying with a tornado DDT. Statlander sits Thekla on the top rope. Aminata slaps Thekla. Thekla lands a spider suplex in return. Thekla pushes Statlander into Nightingale and Aminata. Thekla spears Statlander. Aminata headbutts Thekla, then hits a dragonscrew on Statlander. Nightingale boots Aminata in the face. Statlander connects with a lariat on her. Aminata then headbutts Aminata.
Statlander and Nightingale trade strikes. Statlander slams Nightingale to the mat. Aminata drives Statlander into the mat next. Thekla roundhouse kicks Aminata. Nightingale lays out Thekla with a powerbomb. Statlander pulls the referee out of the ring. Nightingale and Statlander begin brawling up the ramp. Aminata stomps Thekla. Skye Blue comes down to the ring. Julia Hart mists Aminata in the eye. Thekla capitalizes with a stomp for the win.

We Hear From Toni Storm
AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm appears from a balcony. She says this tramp is now the champ. Storm thanks Mercedes Mone for going all in with her. They did everything they set out to do, but Mone forgot that if she made one false move, Storm would eat her alive. Storm says Mone was delicious. Storm invites Mone to come back for seconds as the buffet is always open.
Storm announces that Luther her butler was injured. She also asserts that her tits are still pointing to the future, but she needs to be careful because her title is the big one. Athena interrupts with Billie Starkz. Athena points out that she is the forever ROH Champion. Athena says she will soon be the forever AEW Women’s Champion. Athena says no one is left to save Storm since she took out Mina Shirakawa. Athena warns Storm that her demise is here. Storm says if Athena is willing, she will be thrilling because she is timeless.
Backstage, Kip Sabian says he is living no longer under a patriarch in Christian Cage, but now under a matriarch in Mama Wayne. Mama Wayne says Nick and Kip are her sons. Nick says Cage was past his expiration date. Nick also says Christian was a liability when he veered off their plan and attempted to become world champion. Nick says Christian used to love questioning Nick about how many world titles he’s won. Nick says the real question is how many world titles he is going to have and how much better he will get. Nick says Christian created this monster, so he and AEW now have live with Nick as the new face of AEW.
Don Callis introduces Okada, the new Unified Champion.
Kazuchika Okada vs. Local Competitor
Okada lays in elbow strikes in the corner. He follows up with a series of stomps. Okada clocks his competitor in the face, then dropkicks him. Okada hits the Rainmaker for the win.

After the match, Okada says his friends The Young Bucks were screwed by Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay. Strickland’s music hits. He and Prince Nana walk down the ramp. Strickland says he did to that, then asks Okada what he’ll do about it. Callis whispers something to Okada, who then retreats.
Adam Page, Mark Briscoe & Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta) (w/ Marina Shafir)
Hobbs shoulder checks Claudio in the corner. They then trade strikes in the center of the ring. Hobbs returns to the corner with short arm lariats. Page tags in and fires off right hands on Claudio. Yuta tags in and eats a boot from Page. Page chops him in the corners, then tags in Briscoe. Briscoe lays in more chops on Yuta. Hobbs tags in and runs over Yuta. Moxley and Page stare off.
Back from break, Yuta elbows Hobbs, but then gets caught mid-crossbody. Moxley rips Hobbs off of Yuta. Shafir steps up to Hobbs, allowing Claudio to take out his leg. With the referee distracted, Shafir kicks Hobbs. Shafir then slaps Hobbs. Moxley sends Hobbs crashing into the steel steps. They return to the ring, with Claudio tagging in. Claudio and Hobbs trade strikes. Claudio swings Hobbs around the ring. Moxley boots Hobbs in the face. Yuta lays in a series of elbows next. Hobbs responds with a powerslam.
Briscoe tags in and hits a sling blade on Moxley. Briscoe then knocks Claudio down. Moxley boots Briscoe in the face. Briscoe sends Moxley staggering with an enziguiri. Shafir gauges Briscoe’s eyes as the referee is distracted again. Moxley spikes Briscoe on the floor.
Back from another break, Moxley piledrivers Briscoe into the mat. Hobbs breaks up the subsequent pinfall attempt. Claudio and Yuta send Hobbs into the steel steps again. Briscoe missile dropkicks Moxley. Briscoe tags in Page. Page kicks Yuta, then knocks Claudio off the apron with a lariat. Page drops Yuta to the mat, then delivers a pop-up powerbomb. Claudio breaks them up with a series of stomps. Claudio tosses Yuta onto Page. Page hits a rolling elbow on Claudio, then sends him to the outside. Briscoe dives onto Claudio. Page follows up with a moonsault. Moxley bites Page. Hobbs hits a spinebuster on Moxley. Yuta his a running knee on Hobbs. Briscoe levels Yuta. Claudio blocks a Buckshot Lariat, but Page counters into a roll up for the win
Winners: Death Riders
After the match, The Death Riders beatdown Page and Briscoe. Darby Allin appears up in the rafters, distracting Moxley. This allows Page to deliver a lariat.
