WWE Raw July 28, 2025: All-Star Eight Woman Tag, Uso vs. Reed, Tag Titles On The Line

This week’s episode of WWE Raw emanates from Detroit, Michigan! Naomi and The Green Regime take on IYO SKY, Nikki Bella, Rhea Ripley and Stephanie Vaquer in an all-star tag match. The Judgment Day defend the WWE World Tag Team Championships. Jey Uso faces Bronson Reed in the main event, and more.

We Hear From Jey Uso & Paul Heyman

Jey Uso comes to the ring to a chorus of cheers and yeets. He grabs a mic to speak, but before he can, Paul Heyman interrupts. Heyman says he wants to talk about family. Heyman backs away when he sees a look on Uso’s eye, thinking he might dive onto him. Heyman says he can’t believe Uso accepted Roman Reigns’ challenge for a tag match at SummerSlam against Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. Heyman says Uso is doing it for family, but family is always going to get him in trouble. Heyman sees that Uso isn’t buying into his words, so he tries to convince him in a different way. Heyman brings up Uso’s mother telling him to believe in Santa Claus during his childhood. Heyman says this proves his mother is a liar since Santa isn’t real. Heyman says Uso’s father Rikishi lied to him too. Heyman brings up Reigns next, calling back to Reigns picking Solo Sikoa as the next Tribal Chief. Heyman says Reigns lied too when he said Uso would be as big as him. Heyman claims he’s saying this because he loves Uso. Heyman bows on the stage.

Uso says family is why he’s here. Uso warns Heyman to be quiet about his family because he doesn’t play about them. Uso says the Bloodline still runs deep in his veins. Uso says he won the World Heavyweight Championship to prove it to himself. Uso asks Heyman where his family is. He then says whatever happens tonight and at SummerSlam will be on Heyman.

AJ Styles & Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) vs. Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Roxanne Perez, & Raquel Rodriguez

Raquel and Asuka lock up, with the latter dropkicking the former. Asuka connects with a spinning back fist and series of stomps. Sane tags in. She kicks Raquel in the back of the head. She and Asuka follow up with double dropkicks. Raquel catches Sane mid-crossbody. She drops her, then launches Perez into her. Perez drives Sane into the mat. Sane sends Perez flying with a hurricanrana. She follows up with chops in the corner. Sane charges in with an elbow. Dominik yanks Perez out of the way. Sane collides with the turnbuckle. Raquel boots Sane on the outside.

Back from break, Raquel slingshot slams Sane. Perez follows up with a springboard moonsault. Sane fires off right hands, then spears Perez. Raquel yanks Asuka off the apron as Sane tries to tag her. Dominik delivers a cheap shot to Styles. Raquel crashes into the steel ring post shoulder first. Sane tags in Styles. Styles drags Dominik into the ring and fires off back elbows. Styles lands a sliding forearm. He then hits a neckbreaker. Styles looks for Phenomenal Forearm, but Perez blocks his line of fire. Styles hits a Pele Kick on Dominik. Asuka levels Perez and Raquel. Styles gives Sane a lift as she goes flying onto Raquel. Styles hits the Pheromonal Forearm on Dominik for the win.

Winners: AJ Styles & Kabuki Warriors

Backstage, Grayson Waller and New Day approach Sheamus. Waller says e feels different without Austin Theory and now the best tag team have his back. Sheamus says anyone that touches Waller gets the itis. Sheamus asks if he wants to fight tonight. Waller agrees.

Grayson Waller vs. Sheamus

Waller backs Sheamus into the corner and knees him in the midsection. Sheamus pushes him off and runs him over with an axe handle. Waller lands a rolling flatliner. Sheamus slams him to the mat in response. Waller slaps Sheamus from the apron. Sheamus slaps him back on the outside, then hits a rolling senton on the floor. The action returns to the ring. Waller rocks Sheamus with a knee, then rams him into the ring post. Waller lands a spinning DDT on the apron. Sheamus rocks Waller with a jumping knee in the ring. He follows up with the signature ten beats. Rusev distracts Sheamus. Waller rolls up Sheamus for a near fall. Sheamus still hits a Brogue Kick for the win.

Winner: Sheamus

After the match, Rusev whacks Sheamus with the shillelagh. He then locks Sheamus in the Accolade. WWE officials pull him off.

Backstage, Naomi says Rhea Ripley isn’t going to be the only one bringing the brutality at SummerSlam. Naomi says she can fly high too like IYO SKY. Naomi says she is also aggressive. Naomi says she doesn’t care who they throw at her. She also foresees herself walking out of SummerSlam with her women’s title.

Elsewhere, Bron Breakker says he is the leader in Seth Rollins’ absence. He wants Bronson Reed to beat Jey Uso tonight. Reed promises to leave Uso and his family laying from Tsunamis. Breakker says he has a plan.

We Hear From Lyra Valkyria

Valkyria looks ahead to SummerSlam, where she’ll challenge Becky Lynch for the Women’s IC Title. Valkyria says she knows Lynch doesn’t like to play by the rules, which is how she beat her for the title. Valkyria says that’s why she called for there to be no rules at SummerSlam. Valkyria says she knows exactly what Lynch is capable of. Meanwhile, Lynch doesn’t know what Valkyria is capable of. Valkyria says she’s prepared to go to a place she’s never gone to before. Lynch’s music plays. Valkyria dropkicks her through the ropes. Valkyria then slams Lynch with a kendo stick. Lynch grabs the kendo stick. Valkyria sets up for Night Wing, but Lynch retreats.

Backstage, Karrion Kross interrupts Sami Zayn’s interview. Kross says he planned to blast Zayn with a steel rod again, but he didn’t want him to miss SummerSlam. Kross says he usually gets people to show their true colors, except for Zayn. Kross says after he beats Zayn at SummerSlam, he wants Zayn to say he told the truth. Kross promises to leave him alone then. Kross says Zayn is no better than him. Zayn says Kross thinks he’s a puppet master. Zayn says if he loses at SummerSlam, he will say whatever Kross wants him to. Zayn says if he wins though, Kross must say he’s wrong.

Elsewhere, Bayley points out that she’s missing SummerSlam, and now she’s at a loss for words.

Naomi & The Green Regime (Alba Fyre, Chelsea Green & Piper Niven) vs. IYO SKY, Nikki Bella, Rhea Ripley & Stephanie Vaquer

Naomi dodges a boot from Ripley. Ripley responds with a ripcord lariat. She then slams Naomi to the mat. Naomi tags in Green. Bella tags in and fires off right hands on Green. Bella drives Green into her tag partners. She follows up with a spinebuster. Fyre tags in. Bella rocks her with a forearm. Niven runs over Bella and lands an elbow on her.

Back from break, Naomi sends Bella into the turnbuckle. Naomi mocks Bella’s signature twirl. Bella rocks Naomi with an enziguiri. SKY tags in and runs over Fyre. SKY stomps her in the midsection, then kicks her. SKY blasts Naomi on the apron. SKY dropkicks Fyre. Green nails SKY with an enziguiri for a two count. Naomi lands a forearm to SKY in the corner. SKY boots Green in the face. Naomi spikes SKY, then delivers a leg drop. Naomi drags SKY into the corner. Green hits a codebreaker on SKY. Niven follows with a senton. Fyre then lands a Swanton. Vaquer and Bella break up her pinfall attempt.

Ripley kicks Naomi. Niven lands a side slam on Ripley. Naomi sends Ripley crashing into the steel steps. SKY rolls up Fyre for a two count, then drives her into the mat with a flapjack. Vaquer tags in and lands a crossbody on Green. She kicks Fyre and Niven. Vaquer headbutts Naomi in the corner. Vaquer delivers double knees to all her opponents, except Naomi, who eats a dragonscrew. Vaquer hits a back suplex on Green, then a Devil’s Kiss. Fyre superkicks Vaquer. Bella lays out Fyre with a Bella Buster. Naomi grabs her title and heads to the back. SKY rolls her back into the ring, where Bella drops her. SKY follows with a dropkick. Niven clotheslines Bella and SKY. Ripley headbutts Niven and hits a Riptide. Green slaps Ripley. She turns around to take an SVB from Vaquer. Vaquer pins her for the win.

Winners: IYO SKY, Nikki Bella, Rhea Ripley & Stephanie Vaquer

Backstage, Finn Balor hypes up his Judgment Day cohorts. Dominik Mysterio offers to help them in their tag defense, but Balor insists he stay in the back and chill.

Elsewhere, Ripley reminds SKY that they will be against each other at SummerSlam. SKY says Ripley has never beaten her and never will.

WWE World Tag Titles: The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) (c) vs. LWO (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde)

Balor and Wilde lock up. Wilde dropkicks Balor, then tags in Toro. Toro chops Balor in the corner. Balor responds with a basement dropkick. McDonagh tags in and lands a chop in the corner. Toro dodges a dropkick and kicks McDonagh in return. Toro and Wilde run over McDonagh with a pair of elbows. Toro connects with a springboard moonsault. Balor fires off strikes on Toro in the corner. Balor hits a springboard moonsault of his own. Toro connects with missile dropkick. He sends McDonagh to the outside. Wilde wipes out McDonagh and Balor with a crossbody off the top.

Back from break, Toro clotheslines and dropkicks McDonagh. He lands a spinning headscissors as well. Toro kicks McDonagh as he hangs from the turnbuckle. Toro goes up top and goes coast to coast. He covers McDonagh for a two count. Balor tags in, as does Wilde. Balor kicks Wilde in the midsection. Wilde and Toro double suplex Balor and McDonagh. They follow up with dives through the ropes. Wilde lands a moonsault on Balor. Toro follows with a Phoenix Splash. McDonagh breaks up the pinfall attempt. El Grande Americano runs down and argues with the referee. Dragon Lee yanks him off the apron. They brawl to the back. Balor rolls up Toro for a two count. Toro boots Balor and drops McDonagh with an enziguiri. Wilde wipes out McDonagh at ringside. Another masked figure trips up Toro on the turnbuckle, then flees through the crowd. Balor hits the Coup De Grace on him for the win.

We Hear From Gunther & CM Punk

Gunther says he went toe-to-toe with Punk, the supposed best talker, last week and left him speechless. Gunther says Punk will never be World Heavyweight Champion and he made him shut up last week. Punk’s music hits. Punk says he doesn’t want to be world champion, he needs to. Punk says he needs it like he needs his heart to pump blood through his veins. Punk says wrestling is his addiction. He needs to raise the title above his head in order to thank the people who kept cheering for him all these years. Punk reiterates that he needs the title.

Punk says he earned the right to call himself the best in the world and be arrogant about it. Punks says Gunther is as arrogant as him, but he can’t back it up. Gunther begins to tell Punk to shut up, but Punk covers his mic. Punk says Gunther will find out a hard lesson at SummerSlam. Punk says Gunther will never be on his level. He also praises to leave as world champion and leave Gunther knowing what it’s like to be in the ring with the best in the world.

Jey Uso vs. Bronson Reed (w/ Paul Heyman)

Uso fires off right hands on Reed. Reed whips Uso into the corner. Uso moves out of the way and lands a hip attack. Uso tries to clothesline Reed, but Reed stands tall. He then rocks Uso with an elbow. Reed headbutts Uso across the ring. Reed whips Uso into another corner. Uso responds with a kick. Reed catches him mid-crossbody and slams him to the mat.

Back from break, Uso fires off right hands and a kick to Reed. Uso follows up with a suicide dive. Bron Breakker charges in and spears Uso. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner (by DQ): Jey Uso

After the match, Breakker rolls Uso into the ring and lands right hands. Reed does the same. Roman Reigns comes down to the ring and slingshots Reed against the ropes. He then lays in strikes on Breakker and sends him over the top rope. Reigns sends Reed into the ring post. He helps Uso to his feet. Uso superkicks Breakker. Reigns superman punches Reed.

Breakker spears Reigns on the outside. Reed counters Uso’s spear. Breakker then spears Uso in the ring. Reed goes up top and hits a Tsunami on Uso. Reigns reaches his feet on the outside. Breakker wipes him out with a crossbody over the announce table. Breakker rolls Reigns back into the ring. Reed descends off the top with a Tsunami to Reigns. Breakker tells Reigns that everything is his now. Breakker spears Reigns and Uso through the barricade. Reed says WWE is theirs now.
