AEW Dynamite November 5, 2025: Trios Titles On The Line, Blood & Guts Advantage Matches

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite emanates from Houston, Texas! We break it all down in this week’s AEW Dynamite recap!

We Hear From The Opps

Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata come down to the ring. Joe says he has a problem that applies to Tony Schiavone. Joe doesn’t believe that Schiavone had nothing to do with Adam Page attacking him last week in disguise. Joe says there are consequences for his actions. The Opps surround the ring. AEW security run down to protect Schiavone. Joe says he is just getting more people hurt in this equation. Adam Page charges down to the ring. AEW security hold him back as he yells at Joe. The Opps hop up onto the apron. Eddie Kingston and Hook run down to even the odds for Page. The Opps retreat.

Page says he is right here for Joe and vows to beat his ass. Hook dares The Opps to defend their Trios Titles against them tonight. Joe accepts on behalf of The Opps.

Men’s Blood And Guts Advantage Series: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Orange Cassidy

Cassidy dives onto Claudio before the bell rings. Cassidy follows with a series of right hands. Claudio dumps Cassidy into the ring. When the bell finally rings, Cassidy counters and uppercut with an arm drag. Claudio catches Cassidy mid-dive through the ropes. He then slams Cassidy on top of the barricade. Claudio drops Cassidy back into the ring. Cassidy locks in a guillotine submission hold. Claudio escapes and swings Cassidy around.

Back from break, Cassidy takes down Claudio with a hurricanrana and a dropkick. Claudio delivers a backslide for a two count, then blasts Claudio with a PK. Cassidy spikes Claudio with a DDT on the floor. He goes up top and descends with a tornado DDT. Claudio answers with a sunset flip and a Liger Bomb for a near fall. Claudio cinches in a crossface. Cassidy rolls through, only to eat an uppercut. Cassidy rolls up Claudio for a near fall. Claudio nails him in return with an uppercut for another near fall.

Cassidy lands a Stun Dog Millionaire off the top. He then runs into an uppercut from Claudio. Cassidy responds with an Orange Punch. Claudio connects with another uppercut for the win.

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli

Backstage, Mark Briscoe challenges Kyle Fletcher to a No DQ match for the TNT Championship at Full Gear. Don Callis says Briscoe must put something on the line too. Callis suggests that if Briscoe loses, he must join the Don Callis Family. Briscoe agrees.

AEW Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament: Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale vs. Athena & Mercedes Mone

Mone rains down with right hands on Cameron, then chokes her with her boot in the corner. Athena does the same to Cameron. Mone knees Cameron in the jaw. Athena follows with an elbow and a series of knees. Mone knocks Nightingale off the apron before returning to Cameron. Cameron drops Mone on her back with a suplex. Nightingale tags in and levels Mone with clothesline. She crushes Mone and Athena in the corner, then blasts them with a double dropkick. Cameron and Nightingale land double enziguiries. Nightingale slams Cameron onto Mone. Athena runs in with a senton on Cameron. Athena dropkicks Nightingale off the apron. Mone delivers a backstabber to Cameron. Athena wipes out Nightingale with a dive to the outside. Athena drives Mone into Cameron for a near fall.

Back from break, Cameron connects with a double crucifix bomb. Nightingale follows with a double spear. Nightingale nails Athena with a cannonball in the corner. Mone lays in elbows on Nightingale. Nightingale drives her into the mat. Cameron and Nightingale take turns hitting Mone. Mone connects with a backstabber on Nightingale. Cameron rocks Mone with Sole Food. Athena drives Cameron into the mat with a face buster. Nightingale clotheslines Athena. Mone and Athena connect with a lungblower-backstabber combo on Cameron. Mone cinches in the Statement Maker. Nightingale launches Athena into Mone to break it up.

Athena dropkicks Nightingale. Nightingale bounces back with a lariat on Athena, then blasts Mone with an elbow. Nightingale follows with a Death Valley Driver on Mone. Athena dodges a cannonball. She rocks Nightingale with a lungblower. Cameron tags in. Athena drops both Nightingale and Cameron onto the mat. Billie Starkz runs down and grabs the ROH Women’s Championship. Kris Statlander runs down and blasts Starkz with a clothesline. Statlander chases Mone around the ring. Nightingale powerbombs Athena in the ring. Cameron follows with a swinging neckbreaker for the win.

We Hear From The Hurt Syndicate

Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley, and MVP comes down to the ring to meet Tony Schiavone. Schiavone points out that Benjamin and Lashley will both be competing in the Casino Gauntlet at Full Gear. MVP says the prize is The Hurt Syndicate’s. He adds that The Hurt Syndicate wins as do the people if either Benjamin or Lashley claim victory in the gauntlet.

The Demand interrupt. Ricochet gives The Hurt Syndicate credit. He says it doesn’t matter how old they are, but they still hobble to the ring with the aspirations of championship gold. He mockingly states that he admires them for that. Ricochet says he told everyone so. He says he proved that when he made sure none of the Hurt Syndicate touched championship gold again. MVP says no one cares about what Ricochet has to say. MVP tells Ricochet to shut his mouth or they’ll beat his ass. Ricochet vows to win the National Championship at Full Gear. MVP says they talk s***, but The Hurt Syndicate hurt people.

Men’s Blood And Guts Advantage Series: Darby Allin vs. Daniel Garcia

Garcia and Allin trade headlocks. Garcia stomps away at Allin the corner. Garcia chokes Allin with the turnbuckle pad. Allin hammers down elbows, then bites Garcia. He wipes out Garcia with a dive next. Allin dropkicks Garcia into the barricade. Garcia sweeps Allin off the barricade and rains down right hands. He follows with a big boot. Garcia sends Allin flying into the steel steps.

Back from break, Garcia dropkicks the steel steps into Allin. The referee begins counting. As Garcia argues with the referee, Pac wipes out Allin on the outside. The referee resets the count. Allin rolls back into the ring at the count of nine. Garcia chops Allin in the chest. Garcia cinches in a Sharpshooter. As Allin crawls to the ropes, Garcia pulls him back into the center. Allin kicks away Garcia and transitions into a Sharpshooter of his own. Garcia taps out.

Winner: Darby Allin

After the match, Pac attacks Allin from behind. Allin answers back with swings at Pac. Pac boots Allin in the jaw. Orange Cassidy runs in and fires off punches on Pac. Wheeler Yuta blasts Cassidy with a running knee. Pac, Yuta, and Garcia beat down on Cassidy. Claudio stomps away at Allin. Roderick Strong runs down but gets overwhelmed by the Death Riders. Moxley tweaks Kyle O’Reilly’s knee in the outside. Pac spikes Cassidy with a piledriver on Cassidy. Claudio slams Allin into the mat. Strong blasts Moxley with a knee. Strong sends the Death Riders retreating. Kyle O’Reilly and Strong stand tall in the ring.

We Hear From FTR

Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood are in the ring. Wheeler says they should have been three time tag champions at Forbidden Door but they weren’t because of Brodido. Wheelers calls out Brody King and Bandido. Backstage, Stokely Hathaway is seen standing in front of Brodido’s locked dressing room. Harwood sarcastically says that’s unfortunate. He then points out Bandido’s family sitting in the crowd. Harwood asks how proud his grandmother is of him. Before she can answer, Harwood yanks away the microphone from her. Harwood says she’s probably embarrassed of Bandido. Harwood says if she’s good, FTR may adopt her as their grandma. She slaps Harwood.

Bandido charges down and trades strikes with FTR. King punches a hole in the dressing room door and unlocks it. He runs down and saves Bandido from a piledriver. FTR flees the ring.

Women’s Blood And Guts Advantage Series: Megan Bayne (w/ Penelope Ford) vs. Mina Shirakawa

Bayne shoves Shirakawa away. Shirakawa fires off elbows on Bayne. Shirakawa tries to shoulder tackle Bayne, but fails. Bayne shoulder tackles her instead. Shirakawa dropkicks Bayne through the ropes. She goes up top and descends with a dive to the outside. Bayne delivers an avalanche fallaway slam.

Back from break, Bayne launches Shirakawa across the ring with a German suplex. Shirakawa blasts Bayne with an elbow on the apron. She follows with a kick and suplex. Shirakawa sends Bayne flying into the corner with a hurricanrana. She lands a rolling elbow after. Shirakawa goes up top and descends with a sling blade. At the commentary desk, Marina Shafir chokes Toni Storm. Back in the ring, Bayne runs over Shirakawa with a lariat. She finishes off Shirakawa with a running Liger Bomb.

Winner: Megan Bayne

After the match, Shafir sends Storm into the steel steps. Shafir joins Bayne into the ring and beats down Shirakawa. Storm runs into the ring with a chair. Julia Hart, Skye Blue, and Thekla run in and overpower Storm and Shirakawa. More of the women’s locker room comes out, leading to a brawl. Statlander’s Blood and Guts team stands tall.

AEW World Trios Titles: The Opps (Katsuyori Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs & Samoa Joe) (c) vs. Adam Page, Eddie Kingston & Hook

Page and Shibata exchange strikes. Page lays in elbows in the corner. Shibata answers with a big boot. Page bursts out of the corner with a lariat. Hook tags in and suplexes Shibata. Hook elbows Hobbs in the face. Hobbs responds with a backbreaker. Hook suplexes Hobbs across the ring.

Back from break, Page knocks Shibata off the apron. He then sends Hobbs to the outside. Page rams Hobbs into the ring post. He lands a moonsault on Hobbs next. Hobbs wipes out Shibata with a dive through the ropes. Kingston runs over Hobbs with a clothesline. Joe runs over Kingston in return. Hook sends Joe through the ropes. Shibata drives Hook into the mat. Hobbs pulls Page off the apron and slams him onto it. Shibata suplexes Kingston. Hobbs shoulder tackles Page on the stage. Page and Hobbs trade elbows. Hobbs powerbombs Page through a table.

Back in the ring, Kingston lands an exploder on Shibata. Hobbs crushes Kingston in the corner. Hook tags in and executes the backbreaker submission on Hook. Joe holds back Kingston. Hook taps out.
