AEW Dynamite March 4, 2026: Three Title Matches, Brawling Birds In Action

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite emanates from El Paso, Texas! We break it all down in this week’s Dynamite recap.

AEW World Title Match MJF (c) vs. Kevin Knight

Knight takes MJF down with a series of arm drags. Knight follows with a pair of tackles. MJF nails Knight in the face in return. Knight fires off stomps in the corner. Knight goes up top and descends with UFO Splash, but MJF moves out of the way. Knight rolls up MJF for a two count. MJF drops Knight onto the mat. MJF launches Knight into the corner. Knight leaps off top and wipes out MJF. Knight slams MJF to the mat, then lands a splash for a near fall. Knight goes up top, but MJF rolls to the outside. Knight wipes out MJF with a dive over the top rope.

Back from break, the referee gets caught up in the ropes as Knight descends off the top and MJF kicks him. Knight covers MJF, but the referee doesn’t see it. When he does, MJF kicks out. Knight goes back up top. MJF gets his knees up to block the UFO Splash. MJF hits the Heat Seeker for the win.

Winner (And Still): MJF

After the match, MJF loads up his diamond ring. Before he can use it, Adam Page distracts him the ramp. Mike Bailey then blasts MJF with a thrust kick.

Darby Allin & Orange Cassidy vs. The Dogs (Clark Connors & Gabe Kidd)

All four men begin brawling around the ring. When the bell rings, Kidd runs over Allin with a lariat. Kidd drops Allin with a Fisherman Buster suplex.

Back from break, Cassidy drops Connors with a Beach Break. Kidd breaks up the subsequent pinfall attempt, then blasts Allin in the corner. Kidd runs over Cassidy with a lariat. Cassidy lands a Stun Dog Millionaire on Kidd. Allin follows with a Code Red. Allin sends Connors into the turnbuckle. Cassidy wipes out Kidd on the outside. Allin delivers a stunner to Connors. Cassidy spikes Connors with a DDT. Allin knocks them both down with a Coffin Drop. Connors eats an Orange Punch.

Winners: Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy

After the match, David Finlay blindsides Cassidy, then Allin with a shillelagh. Finlay fires off right hands on Cassidy. He follows with a shillelagh shot to Allin. Finlay stacks Cassidy onto Allin as he, Connors, and Kidd stand tall.

The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessie McKay) vs. The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter)

Windsor and Hayter attack Lee and McKay in opposite corners. They follow with double chops to both of them. Hayter delivers a backbreaker to Lee. Windsor follows with a lariat. Hayter and Windsor double suplex Lee next. Hayter and Windsor sandwich them together with lariat. They send Lee crashing onto McKay for the win.

Winners: Brawling Birds

Adam Page vs. Marty Stone

Page runs over Stone with a boot. He follows with the Buck Shot Lariat for the win.

Winner: Adam Page

After the match, Page says he is putting his future at stake for the chance to do what MJF’s should have done, which is teaching him a lesson. Page warns MJF that he has no conscious in Texas Death matches. Page vows to rip and tear MJF in it. Page suggests that MJF slip his diamond ring on and show him how good that will do at Revolution. MJF comes out to the stage. He points out that he whooped Knight earlier in the night. MJF suggests that Page doesn’t make him whoop his ass next. Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis, and Kazuchika Okada ambush Page. Davis runs over Page with a lariat. Bailey and Knight run down to even the odds, prompting the Don Callis Family members to retreat to the stage. Don Callis appears with Lance Archer. Callis says he hates greedy guys. Callis recalls them saying they’ll defend their AEW Trios Titles any place and any time. Callis then reveals that DCF will challenge for the titles later tonight.

Jon Moxley vs. Hechicero

Hechicero drops an elbow on Moxley’s back. He twists Moxley’s neck as well. Hechicero and Moxley trade chops, then shoves. Moxley fires off right hands in the corner. Hechicero cinches in an arm bar. He eventually lets it go, then yanks Moxley’s arm over the top rope. Hechicero lands a diving elbow off the top.

Back from break, Hechicero delivers a flapjack. He covers Moxley for a two count. As Moxley stumbles to his feet, Hechicero lands a series of right hands. Moxley slaps Hechicero, then stomps him into the mat. Moxley follows with a knee strike and a Death Rider for the win.

Winner: Jon Moxley

After the match, Konosuke Takeshita stares down Moxley.

We Hear From Brody King

King heads to the ring with a microphone. King says he can be like Swerve Stickland and tell everyone how dangerous he is. King says he doesn’t have to because he knows that King is actually the most dangerous man in AEW. King calls out Stickland. Prince Nana appears instead. Nana asks if King is sure he wants to go down that route with Stickland. King says he does. Nana introduces Stickland.

Stickland attacks King from behind with a fist full of chain. Stickland follows up with a House Call. Stickland wraps the chain around King’s neck, then loops it around the top rope. Stickland chokes King with the chain by yanking on it. King passes out. Stickland says you chain up a dog just like this. Stickland reiterates that the AEW roster is on notice. Stickland adds that he will see King at Revolution. Bandido runs in to save King.

AEW Women’s Title: Thekla (c) vs. Thunder Rosa

Rosa slaps Thekla, then drives her into the turnbuckles. Rosa fires off a series of chops next. Thekla rolls to the outside, where Rosa meets her with a lariat. Rosa lands another chop before launching Thekla into the side of the ring. Rosa jumps off the barricade with a crossbody. Thekla knocks Rosa off the apron with a boot.

Back from break, Rosa lands a Fire Thunder Driver for a near fall. When she goes for another one, Thekla escapes and spears Rosa. Thekla delivers a pair of stomps next for the win.

Winner (And Still): Thekla

After the match, Kris Statlander approaches Skye Blue and Julia Hart at ringside. AEW security run down to separate them. In the ring, Thekla delivers another stomp on Rosa. Statlander breaks free from security and charges after Thekla. Thekla retreats.

At ringside, Tommaso Ciampa talks with Renee Paquette. Ciampa claims that Kyle Fletcher is hiding behind the Don Callis Family because he knows that Ciampa will beat him one-on-one. Ciampa says he will play the games if it earns him a rematch for the TNT Championship. Ciampa says he came to AEW to be a top guy. FTR’s music hits. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler hug Ciampa. Harwood welcomes Ciampa to AEW. Harwood invites Ciampa to join FTR and Stokely and take over the company together. Ciampa says he still hates Harwood even 10 years later. Harwood warns if Ciampa has an issue with Stokely, then he has a problem with them. Ciampa clocks Harwood in the jaw. Wheeler steps in. The action stops, with Harwood saying he’ll see Ciampa at Collision.

AEW World Trios Titles: Adam Page, Mike Bailey, & Kevin Knight vs. Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, & Mark Davis)

All six men begin brawling. Page rams Davis into the steel steps. Bailey fires off kicks on Fletcher at ringside. Knight pushes Okada into the side of the ring. Bailey takes down Fletcher with a hurricanrana, then a boot. Fletcher fires off right hands on Bailey. Davis slams Bailey into the mat, then crushes him with a senton. Okada follows with the same sequence to Bailey. Bailey rolls up Fletcher for a two count. Page wipes out Okada and Davis before delivering a fallaway slam to Fletcher. He launches himself onto Davis, then rocks Fletcher with a boot.

Back from break, Page and Davis trade strikes. Davis stuns Page with an enziguiri. Page answers with a Dead Eye. Fletcher breaks up Page’s pinfall attempt. Bailey lands a reverse hurricanrana on Fletcher, then wipes him out with a moonsault to the floor. Page tries to knock Davis down with a lariat, but Davis initially resists. Page bounces off the ropes with a lariat. MJF appears at ringside and blasts Page with his diamond ring. Okada runs over Knight with a Rainmaker. Davis follows with a piledriver for the win.
