WWE Raw March 9, 2026: Women’s IC Title Gauntlet Match, IC Title On The Line

This week’s episode of WWE Raw emanates from Seattle, Washington! We break it all down in this week’s Raw recap!

We Hear From Adam Pearce

Adam Pearce appears in the ring and says it’s time to address the matters around Seth Rollins. Pearce calls Rollins out to the ring. A series of masked figures surround the ring, then get into it. When they leave, one remains and reveals themselves as Rollins. Pearce says he and Rollins see eye to eye when it comes to their dislike for The Vision, but it is his job to be the General Manager. Pearce says Rollins’ actions recently are unacceptable, especially given that he had surgery less than five months ago. Pearce warns that there will be a time that Rollins won’t get away from The Vision. Pearce points out that Rollins still isn’t medically cleared, so he wants to nip everything in the bud to prevent The Vision from further hurting him.

Logan Paul and Austin Theory emerge. Theory says there’s a bullet with Rollins’ name on it. Theory and Logan hop up to the apron. The masked man get back into the ring to shield Rollins. They, along with Rollins, then escape through the crowd. LA Knight’s music hits. He rams Logan into the barricade, then fires off right hands on Theory in the ring. Logan and Theory double team Knight with strikes in the corner. Jimmy and Jey Uso run down to even the odds. They blast Logan with a double superkick. Knight clotheslines Logan. Theory pulls him to safety before thing can escalate further.

Women’s IC Title Contenders Gauntlet Match

IYO SKY vs Lyra Valkyria

SKY and Valkyria lock up. Valkyria throws SKY to the mat. SKY answers with a head scissors. Valkyria escapes, then locks up with SKY again. Valkyria lands a spinning heel kick. SKY trips up Valkyria, then delivers a dropkick. SKY follows with a dive through the ropes. SKY and Valkyria meet up top. Valkyria slingshots SKY’s arm off the top rope, then nails her with a dropkick through the ropes.

Back from break, SKY connects with an uppercut, then a backbreaker. SKY follows with double knees in the corner. She goes up top, but Valkyria pulls her back down. Valkyria spikes SKY with a tornado DDT. She delivers a fisherman suplex for a near fall next. SKY counters the Night Wing with a stomp. SKY goes up top again and descends with a moonsault.

IYO SKY pins Lyra Valkyria

Raquel Rodriguez comes out next.

Raquel Rodriguez vs. IYO SKY

Raquel runs over SKY with a clothesline on the outside. She follows with a corkscrew elbow. SKY reaches for the bottom rope to break Raquel’s pinfall attempt. Raquel launches SKY across the ring with a shoulder tackle.

Back from break, SKY takes down Raquel with a hurricanrana and missile dropkick. SKY charges in with double knees in the corner. She goes up top next. Liv Morgan distracts the referee, allowing Raquel to sweep SKY off her feet. Stephanie Vaquer runs down and tosses Morgan up the ramp. Their brawl leads to backstage. SKY rolls up Raquel.

IYO SKY pins Raquel Rodriguez

Raquel rams SKY into the ring post, then slams her onto the apron. Ivy Nile runs down to the ring.

Ivy Nile vs. SKY

Nile quickly pins SKY for the win. Bayley charges down next to face Nile next.

Bayley vs. Ivy Nile

Nile sneaks up behind Bayley and attacks her. Back from break, Nile cinches in a headlock. Bayley rolls through to escape, then lands a neckbreaker. Bayley follows with a back suplex and running knee. She lands a second rope elbow for a near fall. Nile counters the Bayley to Belly, then charges in with a kick in the corner. She tosses Bayley with a German suplex for a near fall of her own. Bayley elbows Nile in the back. She stacks up Nile for a two count. Nile boots Bayley in the face, then delivers an uppercut. Nile drops Bayley with a vertical suplex. Nile follows with a superplex and swinging uranage. Bayley rolls to the outside, where she drives Nile into the steps. She lands an elbow on the apron. The action returns to the ring, with Bayley hitting the Bayley to Belly.

Bayley pins Ivy Nile

Asuka heads to the ring for the last bout with Kairi Sane by her side. Bayley dives through the ropes to wipe out Asuka.

Asuka vs. Bayley

Asuka cinches in an ankle lock. Bayley rolls through, but Asuka keeps it cinched in. Asuka blasts Bayley with a kick. Bayley locks in a knee bar on Asuka. Asuka rolls to the bottom rope to break it. Bayley lands a dropkick under the bottom rope next. Asuka rocks Bayley with a knee to the jaw. Bayley answers with a clothesline and running knee. Bayley and Asuka trade strikes. Asuka knocks Bayley down with a spinning kick. Bayley hits the Bayley to Belly for a near fall. Asuka knocks Bayley to the outside. Lyra Valkyria dropkicks Sane at ringside. Bayley returns to the ring, only to get trapped in the Asuka Lock. Bayley escapes and hits the Rose Plant for a pinfall.

Winner: Bayley

Backstage, OG El Grande Americano meets Danhausen. Danhausen curses him.

Out in the ring, Penta thanks his fans and himself for his title win last week.

IC Title: Penta (c) vs. New El Grande Americano

New Grande lands a series of right hands on Penta in the corner. Penta turns things around and lands right hands of his own. New Grande answers with an uppercut. Penta delivers a backstabber and springboard clothesline. New Grande clocks Penta as he dives through the ropes. New Grande poses by the IC Title.

Back from break, Penta wipes out New Grande with a dive to the outside. He follows with a crossbody for a two count. New Grande lands a spinebuster. Penta blasts New Grande with a kick to the jaw. New Grande responds with a Death Valley Driver. Penta bounces back with a codebreaker and springboard Mexican Destroyer for the win.

Winner (And Still): Penta

Backstage, Dominik Mysterio is looking for Finn Balor. JD McDonagh says he’ll go look. Mysterio then says there’s something he wants to get off his chest.

Judgment Day Turn On Finn Balor

Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez head to the ring. Mysterio demands a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship against Penta. Mysterio points blame at Finn Balor for his loss last week. Balor comes out with McDonagh. Mysterio says he hopes Balor got him a rematch. Balor apologizes for accidentally costing Mysterio the title last week. He insists that he was trying to teach Mysterio a lesson though. Balor recalls Mysterio telling him he wanted to be the greatest Mysterio of all time. Balor says to be the greatest at anything, sometimes one has to fight their own battles. Balor suggests that the more he tries to lead Mysterio, that maybe his dad was right. Balor suggests that maybe Mysterio is a spoiled little pr*ck.

Balor rocks Mysterio with a Pele Kick. McDonagh rips Balor away, though it doesn’t stop Balor from following up with a sling blade. As Balor lines up for a dropkick, McDonagh levels Balor. The rest of the Judgment Day fire off stomps on Balor. Mysterio grabs a chair and the ring bell hammer. Mysterio blasts Balor with the hammer. Mysterio loads his shoe with the hammer, then delivers a 619 to Balor. Mysterio follows with a pair of frog splashes. The Judgment Day stand tall over Balor.

Backstage, Kofi Kingston tells Je’Von Evans he reminds him of a young Kingston. Kingston suggests that Evans needs the right team around him. Evans tells Kingston he’ll think about it.

Elsewhere, Bayley says she is pumped for her IC Title match next week. Bayley calls it an honor step into the ring with AJ Lee as well.

Oba Femi vs. Rusev

Rusev and Femi trade strikes. Rusev knees Femi in the gut, then fires off more hands. Femi uppercuts Rusev in the corner. He follows with a big boot. Femi sends himself and Rusev to the outside. Rusev lands thrusts to Femi’s throat. Femi drives Rusev into the ring steps. Rusev answers with a kick. He fires off more right hands before driving Femi into the ring post. The action returns to the ring, with Rusev repeatedly kicking Femi. Femi runs in with an uppercut, then tosses Rusev across the ring. Femi follows with a powerbomb for the win.

Winner: Oba Femi

We Hear From CM Punk & The Usos

Punk says there are some people who are upset about things he said last week. Those same people circled one of his comments as disrespectful. Punk adds that Roman Reigns has never respected him. Punk asserts that he will force Reigns to respect the position he holds, which is world champion. Punk recalls his world title being made because Reigns refused to defend the WWE Title at the time. Punk says he defends the title because the people deserve a fighting champion. He adds that he levels up the title, his challengers, and WWE. Despite that, Punk admits that he lowered himself to Reigns’ level last week.

Jimmy and Jey Uso head to the ring to confront Punk. Jey demands that Punk apologize for the remark about Reigns’ father. Punk asks why Reigns sent his cousins to do his dirty work. Jey says Reigns didn’t send them before again demanding that Punk apologize. Jimmy says this has everything to do with respect. Jimmy says he respects Punk, but he disrespected their uncle who has no voice. Jimmy also requests for Punk to apologize.

Punk says Jimmy is right. He adds that he goes back with The Usos and their family more than people realize. Punk says he didn’t know Sika well, but he has extended history with Afa. Punk says he sat under Afa’s learning tree back in his early wrestling days. Punk insists that he respects everyone in the family but Reigns, who hasn’t shown him respect back. Punk says Sika can see Reigns being a lying, backstabbing, gaslighting politician. Jey says this isn’t about Roman Reigns before again demanding that Punk says sorry. Punk says he’s sorry…that Reigns treated the Usos and his family like garbage for years and didn’t apologize to them. Punk is also sorry that Reigns disrespected Dusty Rhodes. Punk is also sorry Reigns has tricked The Usos into thinking he cares about them. Punk claims that if Reigns cared about them or the company then he’d be there right now instead of The Usos. Jey shoves Punk. Jimmy clocks Punk as well before he and Jey retreat.
