New Japan Pro Wrestling Announces G1 Climax 28 Dates

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced the dates to the G1 Climax 28. For those unfamiliar with the G1, it is NJPW’s annual round robin tournament that is divided into two blocks. With the winner of each block going onto the finals to face one another. Then the winner of the tournament gets an IWGP Title match at Wrestle Kingdom 13.  The tournament is a 19 show event with the final three nights in Budokan Hall, New Japan hasn’t run an event here in 14 years. Budokan Hall is where the legendary bouts of 1990’s All Japan Pro Wrestling were once held.
