Justin Roberts Talks World Armwrestling League and All In! {EXCLUSIVE}

Justin Roberts former WWE ring announcer and author of Best Seat In The House: Your Backstage Pass Through My WWE Journey has not stopped using his voice to entertain fans all across the world. Justin spoke to Instinct Culture EXCLUSIVELY about his many projects including working with the World Armwrestling League, touring with the American rock band Tool and his upcoming participation with All In.

Since his WWE days, Roberts has been enjoying the freedom of trying different things and “switching it up.” He’s written a book, toured with a rock band and still ring announces with various promotions including World Class Revolution. Roberts has always been an entertainer in some way shape or form and he continues to expand his horizons, “every week I am doing something different and random.” says Roberts.

World Armwrestling League

The World Armwrestling League is coming to Los Angeles for one of their biggest events of the year, the Supermatch Showdown Series, August 9th at The Novo at L.A Live. And Justin Roberts  has joined the team and will be ring announcing . This will be the first event he does for WAL, and says the reason he joined the league was because the concept of their event sounds fun and is similar to what he already does for wrestling promotions.

“It’s a fun concept. You want to see competition, you want to see a challenge.” says Roberts on why fans should check out WAL.

All In

The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes have been breaking records and making headlines prior to their sold-out show All In in Chicago. The event taking place September 1st, is part of what is becoming a large “first-time ever” wrestling weekend along with Starrcast, a wrestling podcast convention. Many big names in wrestling will be a part of this experience including Justin Roberts who was announced as part of the broadcast team for the show.

Roberts told Instinct Culture that he’d always been a fan of the Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes, ” I like both Ring of Honor, New Japan and watching Being The Elite every week.” He went on to say that he was watching the press conference and knew it was going to be very successful.

Roberts says WWE one-hundred percent prepared him to work in any given space when it comes to Entertainment. “Once you worked there, under those circumstances, they expect a lot from you. Coming from there {WWE}, I got really good training.” Roberts mentions a lot about his experience with WWE in his book Best Seat In the House: Your Backstage Pass Through My WWE Journey, noting that it got tons of positive feedback for being honest and sharing his story.
