We Hear From Roman Reigns
Reigns tells the crowd to acknowledge him. Bronson Reed them comes out to the stage with Paul Heyman. Heyman tells the crowd to acknowledge Reed. He also calls for Reigns to acknowledge Reed, whom he apparently fears. Heyman says Reigns has never been beaten as bad as he was when Reed did it to him at Clash In Paris. Heyman says Reigns had never been beaten so bad that he had to be taken to a hospital either. Reed says Sika never went out on a stretcher, and neither did Afa. Reed asks what they would have thought seeing Reigns be stretchered out by him.
Reigns says Reed didn’t know his father and uncle, but Heyman did. Reigns says his father would tell him to fight Reed now. Reigns invites Reed to do it now. Heyman implores Reed to fight on his own schedule. Reigns says Heyman is a coward. Reigns says he is levels above Reed, so it will always be his time. Heyman challenges Reigns to face Reed at Crown Jewel in an Australian Street Fight. Reigns accepts. Heyman and Reed head to the back. Reigns calls them b*tches. Reed charges to the ring and trades hands with Reigns. Reed throws Reigns to the outside. Reigns lands a Superman Punch, then clears the announce desk. Reigns breaks free from WWE officials and lays in more right hands. Reed hits another Superman Punch on Reed. WWE officials separate them again.
Backstage, Asuka tells Kairi Sane that she’s fighting IYO SKY tonight. Sane says she doesn’t want to because she thinks she can bring SKY back into their family. Asuka slaps Sane.
Becky Lynch vs. Maxxine Dupri
Dupri backs Lynch into the corner, then shoves her. Lynch delivers an arm drag. Lynch takes down Dupri with a waist lock. Lynch runs over Dupri with a shoulder. She then mockingly slaps Dupri and clotheslines her. Lynch fires off kicks in the corner. Lynch whips Dupri into the corner. Dupri bursts out of it with a Thesz Press. Dupri leaps off the apron with a senton. Lynch launches Dupri into the barricade. She does it again with a Bexploder.
Back from break, Dupri and Lynch trade strikes. Lynch delivers an uppercut and a spinning kick. Dupri responds with a pair of pump knees. She also delivers an exploder. Dupri applies an ankle lock. Lynch rolls through and knees Dupri in the corner. Lynch stacks up Lynch with a powerbomb for a near fall. Dupri goes up top. Lynch meets her there and descends with a superplex. Lynch locks in the Dis-arm-her. Dupri reverses with a roll-up. Dupri applies an ankle lock. Lynch rolls her up foot a two count. Dupri nails Lynch with a spinning kick. Dupri leaps off the top with a crossbody, then rolls up Lynch for a two count.
Lynch launches Dupri into the barricade. Lynch slams her against the steel steps next. Lynch strikes Dupri with the big Prime bottle at ringside. Lynch slams Dupri into the announce desk again. The referee begins counting. Dupri rolls back into the ring as Lynch gloats on top of the announce table. Lynch doesn’t beat the count of ten to return to the ring.
Winner (by countout): Maxxine Dupri
Backstage, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso volunteer to help Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel. Reigns tells Jey to focus on his own stuff right now. Reigns says he hears everything, including what Jimmy said about him in recent weeks.
Lyra Valkyria (w/ Bayley) vs. Roxanne Perez (w/ Raquel Rodriguez)
Valkyria and Perez trade headlock takedowns. Valkyria shoves Perez into the ropes. Perez slaps her. Valkyria rams her shoulder into Perez in the corner. Perez pushes Valkyria to the mat. Perez lands an arm drag, but Valkyria maintains hold of her arm submission. Valkyria sweeps Perez off her feet. Perez leaps off the top and knees Valkyria in the back. Perez extends Valkyria’s arm, then stomps on her hand.
Back from break, Valkyria drops Perez with a suplex. Perez and Valkyria trade pinfall attempts. Raquel hops on the apron and argues with the referee. Perez pushes Valkyria into the top of the ring post. Bayley sweeps Perez off the top. Valkyria leaps off the top and lands on Perez. Raquel boots Bayley at ringside. Valkyria kicks Raquel through the ropes. Perez spikes Valkyria with a DDT. Perez follows with a Pop Rox for the win.
Winner: Roxanne Perez
Backstage, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee approach Penta about teaming with them against the Judgment Day tonight. Elsewhere, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria brawl with Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez.
We Hear From CM Punk
Punk thanks the fans for welcoming back AJ Lee. Punk says he promised Cody Rhodes he’d stay out of his business involving Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel. Punk says he’s also been gone because he’s been celebrating his win at Wrestlepalooza. Punk points out that he has Seth Rollins’ number, and he knows it. Punk vows to reclaim the world title. LA Knight’s music hits. Punk says this is his time. They briefly argue. Knight asks Punk what he sees in his eyes. Punk says someone who interrupted him. Knight says Punk sees a man who blew off the doors and still hasn’t gotten a world title reign. Knight points out some of Punk’s omissions. Knight says Punk was known for the pipebomb, but lately he’s been known for being a husband. Knight commends Punk for showing love for his wife, but calls him a trash champion.
Knight recalls Rollins pinning Punk at SummerSlam and Clash In Paris. Knight points out that he’s never been pinned by Rollins. Knight says he is the last one to pin Rollins, and will be the next one. Jey Uso comes to the ring. Jey says he is the one who never got his rematch for the world title, and he will actually be the next challenger. Knight says Jey had the title but lost it. Knight says it’s his time. Knight says Jey isn’t Roman Reigns. He implores him to go after the tag titles instead, but points out that Jey and Jimmy sucked recently. Jey superkicks Knight as Jimmy comes to the ring.
Punk says Jey will have to get in line behind him. Punk says maybe Jey should focus on the tag titles. He adds that he loves Jey Uso, but not “little Roman.” Jey tries to superkick Punk, but Jimmy pulls him back. Punk clocks Jey. Jimmy superkicks Punk in response.
IYO SKY vs. Kairi Sane (w/ Asuka)
SKY immediately dives onto Asuka and rains down with right hands on the outside. Sane rolls SKY back into the ring. Sane rains down with right hands of her own. Sane leaps off the top, but SKY moves out of the way. SKY counters a hurricanrana attempt. They both evade each other’s dropkicks. Asuka barks out orders at Sane. SKY dropkicks her across the ring. SKY lands a springboard moonsault to the outside.
Back from break, Sane chokes SKY against the ropes. Sane delivers an elbow off the top. SKY lands a double stomp. SKY follows with uppercuts. SKY goes up top and descends with a missile dropkick. Sane dodges SKY’s meteora in the corner. SKY lands a bridging suplex for a two count. Sane rocks SKY with a sliding forearm. Sane slams SKY into the mat. She goes up top looking for an Insane Elbow. SKY blocks it with her feet. SKY lands a meteora in the corner. SKY kicks Asuka in the apron, then lays in right hands. Sane rolls up SKY for the win with added leverage from Asuka.
Winner: Kairi Sane
After the match, Asuka holds SKY back as Sane nails her with an Insane Elbow.
Backstage, Becky Lynch is spiraling after her loss to Maxxine Dupri. Lynch says she’s not going to Australia as she needs time to reevaluate everything. Seth Rollins says he and Paul Heyman should talk. Rollins says he has to win at Crown Jewel. Rollins asks what happens if he loses to Cody Rhodes. Heyman says if Rollins loses to Rhodes, he loses the faith of the locker room. Heyman says Rollins also throws away the fact that this era has been built around him. Heyman implores him not to lose. Rollins points out that Heyman omitted himself for his explanation. Heyman says if Rollins loses, Heyman has to ask why he picked Rollins over Roman Reigns.
Elsewhere, Jey Uso says Jimmy Uso better know what side he’s on tonight. Jimmy insists that he’s on Jey’s side Jimmy says he’s not like Roman Reigns, and neither is Jey. Reigns says Jey became more like him when he won the world title, and less like Jimmy. Reigns advises Jimmy to get out of Jey’s way.
Penta, AJ Styles, & Dragon Lee vs. Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh)
Balor and Styles lock up. Styles dropkicks Balor of the ring. Penta superkicks McDonagh. Lee sends Dominik flying with a hurricanrana. Styles wipes out Balor with a crossbody. Penta does the same to McDonagh. Lee dives onto Dominik.
Back from break, Lee delivers a dragonscrew to McDonagh in the corner. He follows with a dropkick and a stomp. Lee goes up top. McDonagh catches him with a dropkick on the way down. Dominik tags in and hits a sling blade on Lee. Dominik lays in right hands and whips Lee into the corner. Dominik follows with Three Amigos, except Lee counters the third one with a roll-up. Judgment Day men trade quick tags and isolate Lee in their corner.
Back from another break, Penta clotheslines McDonagh, then knocks Balor off the apron. Penta drives Dominik’s head into the mat. He spikes Balor with a DDT. Penta turns McDonagh inside out with a Spanish Fly. Styles sweeps Dominik off his feet. He lands a forearm in the corner. Styles slams Dominik. Lee tosses McDonagh to the outside. Balor does the same to Lee. Penta does the same to Balor, then wipes him out with a dive. Dominik dropkicks Styles. Dominik sets up for a 619, but gets spooked by Rusev. Penta superkicks Rusev on the outside. Dominik runs away through the crowd. Styles plants McDonagh with a Styles Clash for the win.
Winners: Penta, AJ Styles, & Dragon Lee
After the match, Styles says he and John Cena don’t need a story for Crown Jewel. Styles promises that they will leave it all in the ring.
Jimmy & Jey Uso vs. LA Knight & CM Punk
All four men begin brawling as the bell rings. Punk tosses Jimmy to the floor. Jey uppercuts Knight. Knight fires off stomps on Jey in the corner. He follows with a running knee. Knight tags in Punk. Punk yanks Jey’s arm. Punk aggressively tags in Knight. Jey tags in Jimmy. Knight delivers a hip toss, then a right hand. Knight counters a suplex with a neckbreaker. Jey kicks Knight in the back, then tags in. Jey launches Knight into the steel steps.
Back from break, Jimmy and Jey double team Knight. Jey hip attacks Knight in the corner. Knight responds with a jumping neckbreaker. Punk and Jimmy tag in. Punk takes down Jimmy with clotheslines. He follows with a dropkick and a running knee strike. Punk goes up top and descends with an elbow on Jimmy. He calls for a GTS. Jimmy evades it and superkicks Punk. Jey lands an Uso Splash on Punk. Knight breaks up the pinfall attempt. Knight runs over Jey and plants Jimmy with BFT. Jey superkicks Knight. Punk rolls up Jey for a two count. Jey spears Punk. He knocks Knight off the apron. Punk drops Jey with a GTS. Knight tags himself in and pins Jey for the win.
Winners: LA Knight & CM Punk
After the match, Knight rolls out of the ring as Punk looks on, unamused.
