We Hear From AJ Styles
Styles says that he isn’t going anywhere soon, but he did promise that 2026 would be the year he retires. Styles adds that the people can enjoy his last times together with him. Styles also wants to be world champion at least one more time. He points out that Gunther is not phenomenal. CM Punk’s music hits.
Punk says he’s known Styles for 20 years, and now there’s nothing but respect between them. Punk asks Styles what is he thinking putting his career on the line against Gunther. Punk says there’s still time for him to make more memories, but the stakes at Royal Rumble are just too high against Gunther. Punk knows Styles can beat Gunther, but he also saw that Styles didn’t have his hand raised last time. Styles says he knows he can beat both Gunther and Punk. Punk points out that if Styles loses on Saturday, there won’t even be a chance to prove that Styles can beat him. Styles suggests that they wrestle for the title tonight. Punk agrees.
Judgement Day (Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez, & Liv Morgan) vs. Stephanie Vaquer, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY
SKY slaps Perez across the jaw. She then clocks Raquel. Perez fires off right hands, then stomps on SKY. Raquel continues with elbows. Vaquer tags in a dropkicks Morgan. She follows with a leg drop. Vaquer drops Morgan with a suplex. She looks for Devil’s Kiss next, but Raquel breaks it up with a kick.
Back from break, Morgan yanks SKY off the apron. Raquel rams Ripley into the steel steps. Vaquer delivers a backbreaker to Morgan, then tags in SKY. SKY lands uppercuts on Perez, then drops her with a flapjack. SKY leaps off the top with a missile dropkick. She follows with double knees on Perez in the corner. SKY goes up top for a moonsault, but Morgan pulls Perez out of the way.
SKY hits a backbreaker on Perez. Morgan rocks SKY with a codebreaker for a near fall. SKY evades an Oblivion and kicks Morgan away. Ripley tags in and runs over Morgan with clotheslines. She launches Morgan across the ring with a fallaway slam. Ripley headbutts Raquel. She tosses Morgan into Raquel with a Razor’s Edge. Perez gets run over with a lariat. Ripley lands a missile dropkick on Raquel. Morgan evades a Riptide and spikes Ripley with a tornado DDT. SKY breaks up Morgan’s pinfall attempt. The women hit their signature moves on each other. Vaquer wipes out Raquel with a crossbody to the outside. Perez chops Ripley’s leg. SKY dropkicks Morgan. Ripley drives Perez into the mat with a Riptide for the win.
Winners: Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, and Stephanie Vaquer
Backstage, Finn Balor gives CM Punk his flowers. Punk says he considers Balor a great. He adds that he gives out title shots to people who have earned them, like Balor has. Punk then suggests that Balor leave the Judgment Day.
We Hear From Bron Breakker & Adam Pearce
The entire Vision heads down to the ring for Breakker’s meeting with Raw GM Adam Pearce. Paul Heyman says The Vision is here to up the star power on Raw. He then introduces Austin Theory, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and Bron Breakker. Heyman recalls the last two weeks of events involving Pearce and The Vision.
Pearce admits that things got out of hand when he put his hands on Breakker, so he apologizes. Pearce confirms that Breakker is no longer suspended and he will compete in the Men’s Royal Rumble. He adds that all of the members of The Vision are in the Rumble. Pearce books Theory in a match against Rey Mysterio tonight as well.
Rey Mysterio (w/ Penta & Dragon Lee) vs. Austin Theory (w/ The Vision)
Rey kicks Theory in the legs. Theory answers with a lungblower. Theory teases ripping off Rey’s mask, but Rey blocks it. Rey sets up Theory for a 619. Theory rolls to the outside to evade it. Rey drives Theory into the ring post with a hurricanrana. Rey follows with a seated senton.
Back from break, Theory blasts Rey with a forearm, then drives him into the mat. Rey sends Theory crashing into the apron with a hurricanrana. Penta and Lee brawl with The Vision at ringside. Rey dropkicks Logan to the floor. Theory stomps Rey for the win.
Winner: Austin Theory
After the match, Breakker stomps away at Penta. Logan clocks Lee with a right hand. Reed stomps away at Penta in the corner. Breakker spears Lee. Logan follows with a frog splash. Breakker spears Penta. Reed follows with a Tsunami.
Backstage, Natalya says she is introducing a whole new version of herself. She adds that when she’s done with Maxxine Dupri, she’s coming for everything.
Elsewhere, Finn Balor declares himself for the Men’s Royal Rumble, but learns that it is already full.
Jey Uso comes down to ringside for the next match.
World Tag Title Contenders Match: Alpha Academy (Akira Tozawa & Otis) vs. American Made (Brutus Creed & Julius Creed) vs. Los Americanos (Bravo Americano & Rayo Americano) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)
Kingston and Bravo lock up, then trade monkey flip attempts. Bravo strikes Kingston from behind. Julius flips Akira inside out. The Creeds then deliver double suplexes to Bravo and Rayo. Brutus wipes out their opponents with a leap off the top. The Creeds ram Otis into the steel steps.
Back from break, Kingston tosses Rayo to the outside. Woods slams Kingston onto Akira. Rayo stomps away at Akira. Akira launches Bravo into Rayo with a hurricanrana. Julius knocks Otis off the apron. Akira kicks Brutus away, then goes up top. Bravo spins Brutus around on his shoulder. Akira leaps off the top, wiping out Bravo and Brutus. Otis runs over his opponents in the ring, then drops Julius and Bravo.
He flattens Woods and Bravo in the corner. Akira fires off hands on Kingston and Brutus, then spikes them with a DDT. Akira wipes out his opponents with dives to the outside. Akira rocks Kingston with a spinning kick. Grayson Waller trips up Akira on the top rope. Otis knocks Waller off the apron. Jey Uso superkicks Waller. Brutus sends Rayo and Bravo the outside. Akira climbs to the top and descends with a seated senton on Julius for the win.
Winners: Alpha Academy
Backstage, Becky Lynch declares herself for the Women’s Royal Rumble. Asuka and Kairi Sane confront her. Lynch reminds Asuka that she’s beaten Asuka many times.
World Heavyweight Title: CM Punk (c) vs AJ Styles
Styles and Punk lock up. Punk sets up for a GTS, but Styles escapes. Punk then rolls through Styles’ Calf Crusher attempt. Punk elbows Styles in the back. He cinches in a headlock next, which Styles escapes with repeated elbow strikes. Punk runs over Styles with a clothesline. Styles dropkicks Punk to the outside. He follows with a sliding knee.
Back from break, Punk drops Styles with a neckbreaker. He follows with a high knee and a bulldog. He blasts Styles with a running knee for a near fall. Styles answers with a spinning backfists and a running forearms. Styles counters the GTS with a neckbreaker. Punk and Styles go up top. Punk drops Styles to the mat, then lands a leaping elbow. Punk cinches in the Anaconda Vice. Styles escapes. Punk shoulder checks Styles in the corner. Styles bursts out of it and attempts a Styles Clash, but Punk reaches the ropes to break it. Punk drops Styles with a GTS on the floor. Styles barely beats the referee’s count to return to the ring.
Styles delivers a Styles Clash for a near fall. Styles prepares for a Phenomenal Forearm, but Punk trips Styles up on the ropes. Punk and Styles trade strikes. Styles rocks Punk with Pele Kick. As Punk hoists Styles on his shoulders, Finn Balor runs in and attacks them.
No Contest
After the match, Balor dropkicks Punk into the barricade. Balor tosses Punk into the ring, where he descends with three Coup De Graces.
